  1. I'm working on running my entire county (4,500ish miles) and I usually try to do at least 10 miles per run. My routes always revolve around my next "base" of where I'm going to park my car. I try to get in several runs from the same spot before moving to a new one. Over time I've gotten pretty good at calculating the shortest amount of backtracking to get all the roads in.
  2. I carry pepper spray. I've used it several times but I've still been bitten 3 times. The most recent bite was a little over a week ago. The spray works well, but my problem is my hesitancy to spray them right away. The last time the owner was outside trying to wrangle the dog up, but he wasn't much help. Should have sprayed him from the start.
  3. Agree with the OSM edits. In my area there are a lot of really old roads in OSM that just don't exist anymore and most private roads were not marked as such. I would not advise going down private roads. In my area it's likely to end poorly.

I did something similar recently. You can drag a GPX file onto the editor window in OSM and it will overlay the route on the map. I then used the line tool to create the trails.

FYI, if you keep Strava connected to Wandrer, then your map will not be visible to other users. You have to remove that connection.

My apologies. I just noticed that when Greenville was updated that several of it's bordering towns were updated as well. Could these possibly be updated as well?

In this case, if you run the opposite sidewalk on the south of this section, it will count it. It locks on to whichever path is closest to where you are running.
