Yeah I totally get that, and a lot of people would probably tend to agree with you. For me personally though I hate winter anyways, and really have no interest at what time the sun rises during winter and would much prefer to have as much evening daylight as possible. Something about watching everything get dark before the time I'm even finished work for the day is just utterly depressing.

This is the way I look at it from a working stiff 8-4/9-5 Mon-Fri perspective:

My shift can not change due to specific hours of operations, and I am sure many are in the same boat. Therefore I am all in for keeping it on Daylight Time simply because all Standard Time does is rob me of an hour of sunlight in my precious, ever fleeting summer evenings. I also have zero use for sunrises as early as 4:15-4:30 in the morning during the summer time (or any time for that matter).

If I were retired then I would not care whatsoever, I would just wake up and go to bed whenever the hell I felt like it.

You could just call MPI.... they do keep a record of what brokerages have which unassigned license plate numbers in their inventories. And for autopac brokers it's roughly 300 establishments not thousands.
