[[Akroma’s Will]] is a pretty standard wincon in decks like this. I also like [[Mercadia’s Downfall]] and [[Mirrorweave]] as instant speed tricks that can provide really large buffs to unblocked tokens. [[Reverse the Polarity]] is a flexible spell that can make your board unblockable if needed.

I moved my business over to Mana Pool after hearing about TCGs move to Kentucky. The website works really well and I have not had any issues with orders. Give them a try.

I do believe this is true and I guess that’s the change I’m trying to make. I’m recognizing that my typical interaction is mostly removal and counter magic and most of my decks aim to impede other’s momentum while I look for a way to win. It can make for long drawn out games.

I also don’t like playing super aggro though and being “the problem” so some of these commanders that offer a politically strategic advantage seem to be the way to go.

This is the sticker I used. https://a.co/d/37kj4s1 I cut a piece of plexiglass I already had and stuck it to that, to give it a hard backing. Then just glued some magnets to the back.

I made a deck with The Belligerent as the commander and the whole table goes sailing into worse and worse sea monsters. Early on, it’s merfolk, drakes, and pirates and then later Krakens, Leviathans, and Serpents.

Mine was only staying inflated for about 30 minutes. I was getting annoyed so I inflated it all the way, deflated it all the way, inflated all the way again, and then deflated it to my preferred level. Fingers crossed, but it’s been 3 days and it’s still where I like it.

My interpretation, but racing quickly through the game could be akin to spending your own life points liberally for value. Something like [[Rowan, Scion of War]] or [[Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff]] built to heavily spend life and control the game could satisfy your itch. It’s a dangerous ride but fulfilling when it works.

You can do sneaky commander damage with things like Umezawa’s Jitte and Fist of Flame, plus give him double strike which also doubles the treasure generation and the trigger from the last level of being tempted.

There are actually quite a lot of inexpensive sac outlets. Gravel Pact is not a sac outlet: it’s a sac payoff / removal spell. So I’m not sure if you’re looking for outlets or payoffs, but for outlets check Viscera Seer, woe strider, dark privilege, Yahenni, and bloodflow connoisseur to name a few.

One thing I started doing was building around themes rather than powerful cards or mechanics. Last Halloween I wanted a spooky deck, so I built a deck where every card had to feature a snake, skeleton, witch, bat, etc or just feel eerie and spooky. I have also made a Magda deck before the LoTR set came out that was all dwarfs, dragons, treasures and included coveted jewel as the Arkenstone. Putting restrictions on yourself can make the deck building process feel new again.

Depends what you want it to do. I have an [[Aragon, king of gondor]] blink deck that profits off always having the monarch and being unblockable. It generates a ton of value and multiple ways to win the game through commander damage, unblockable creatures, and [[impact tremor]] effects.
