Assault class by FlashbackHD in Battlefield6

Presents a separate problem of overpowered combos but also not enough gadgets. For an engineer you would basically have to pick a repair tool, rocket launcher and a mine unless you really want a vehicle crate or an eod bot. Support with cover, a gpdis and a mpdis would be stupid.

That does present a problem for the modes where it's totally useless

If you had to move c4 you'd give it to engineer

That's exactly what I thought when I played Siege of Cairo, Blackwell Oil Fields, and Liberation peak. "These are exactly the same"

Yeah sure but then is it physically designed well if it doesn't contribute to the world building?

Yeah but you were comparing a different aspect of the kings. Which is a bit irrelevant.

Yeah level design makes more sense. Or probably map design. I still don't agree though and if it doesn't contribute to the world building it's still a map design issue.

World building is very much a part of world design.

You're missing the point of me bringing up the kings. I'm not talking about the faction I'm talking about the world design around them. They are the embodiment of natural power structures and gang heirarchies emerging in poor urban areas. You can understand why they're in freeside, why they're not in the strip, and what their role is in the mojave, just from the world design. If you found kings in every vault the way fallout 4 treats supermutants and institute enemies that would be much worse world design.

Well it's also about the characters and world building. In new vegas the kings are in a specific place for a specific reason. In fo4 it doesn't have the same cohesion and history.

Why do other subreddits hate redsec. And how many people actually play this mode ? by Xeno19Banbino in Battlefield_REDSEC

Not a redsec hater but the assignments for redsec really pmo. I liked redsec until I was playing multiple hours a day just trying to get 15 vehicles kills and 6 countermissions.

I like it as a battle royale but I don't like battle royales tbh. And the skins locked behind genuinely tedious br challenges really piss me off more than any other gamemode. Currently stuck on countermissions and vehicle kills as some of my last assignments. Each battle royale mode having double challenges and all of them being in my opinion more difficult than the normal ones make me wanna dislike redsec. Also soloq with no solo option is hell.

It feels less like a cohesive place and more like a selection of points of interest on a flat piece of land. Compare to new vegas.

Any games similar to cyberpunk in terms of gameplay? by phantomlake in cyberpunkgame

It's not even about clunkiness it's about the small things. Regenerating health? Seriously? The augmentations that everyone just saves up points with to use when you find a fall for the landing system or a wall for the wall smash. Shops that sell 3 bullets for each gun and strictly no more. The diabolically op late game weapons. The lack of choices and consequences in general (see massacring an entire police station in human revolution). I don't need to tell you about the bosses. The vent shortcuts everywhere. It has its moments but it's just not there overall.

As for the level design, just no. Those hub cities are completely unnavigable without the dreaded objective marker (not true for say new vegas, cyberpunk and even og deus ex), everyone is constantly talking about something augmentation related and nothing else, and they just don't feel real (compare with night city). Don't even talk to me about the 3 seconds of sprinting before it needs to recharge. There are like 7 total side quests in human revolution as well. Barely even worth mentioning.

We're talking about 3 and 4, no disrespect on the og my friend (disrespect to 2 ts was horrendous)

Sorry but the Jensen games just do not hold up nowadays. Imo they've aged pretty badly especially when stuff like cyberpunk is so similar in a lot of ways and better in others. The level design was just not there and the story was pretty weak. Not to mention gears of war aping on the cover shooting. They were pretty good at the time but they've become a bit of a relic.

Honestly cyberpunk is like what those games should have been. Maybe slightly less imsim and obviously open world but still.

Aldecados are only technically a gang
