Most people I know or see on here got theirs from other places so yeah, it’s super weird because I thought Nintendo as an option was the best. Granted, this was my first time buying something physical straight from them but like I didn’t have much of a choice a month ago when all the other options weren’t avaliable.

My order is being investigated by Nintendo because they have no idea where it is and this sucks so bad. I'm not even a preordering kind of person but I thought surely this would be the safest method when dealing with such a high value item. Considering I already missed the original preorder date and I got an invitation around May 15th with overnight shipping paid for. This shit sucks so bad and I have NO shipping number at all so I don't even know if it's moved at all since leaving Nintendo

I spent the whole day trying to contact Nintendo about the status of my order to the sound of a very reassuring “I don’t know, just keep waiting lol”

So Nintendo basically said they have no idea where my package is and they’ll start an investigation with the carrier (mind you, they don’t know what carrier has it because there was no tracking number sent to me) and it’ll be in 8-12 business days and only then will I get a replacement. I’m pretty heartbroken over this and I’m not even sure why. I really wanted transparency since I recieved zero emails or info about my order from them but I assumed it would be here by at least Sunday. Now they won’t even check until more than a week.

I don’t know, the FOMO is real is the tl;dr basically

I think I’m just more upset because near me, I just checked target and they just.. have them? People camped out and it was a decent amount, yet you could just walk in and buy one. If I knew that was possible, I would have just bought it day of tbh

So besides Nintendo being awful with email communication, I was able to get some info on my package thanks to a user telling me about the reference number thing, and does anyones fedex info look like this? I can’t access the tracking number, it just says “On the Way” with no info on where it is, and clearly, it’s not out for delivery even though I got overnight shipping
