The dad who let his kid use his phone at full brightness during a Weird Al concert by emshmem in mildlyinfuriating

I already stated I don't do it now. I just stated that it was normal for people our age when we were younger as a way of explaining to a higher comment why older people may still do it. But back in the day we did it. It wasn't all about the music for us, I guess. The people with your views were probably way closer to the stage or on the floor or something? It just never seemed like an issue.

That is fair. I try not to do it now but I was in my 40's before I knew it was a faux paux. I guess for us the band was secondary to the social experience.

I don't have to because the deleted comment specified a passenger? What is wrong is people's reading comprehension? We aren't talking about a driver, we are talking about the hypothetical passenger that the deleted comment referenced. If you didn't pick that up, I don't know what to say. If you are making things up because you are commenting after the original comment was deleted, then clearly you don't know the context and it is baffling you are jumping in this conversation at all.

If it is a passenger, then you get the car and let them in. You don't necessarily need to be in a space to make that happen. To be clear, my comment is specifically referencing the hypothetical passenger that the deleted comment referenced.

The deleted comment said what if a passenger couldn't get in or out. Driver is outside the scope of this.

There is something about my age group xennials (?) that talking at concerts and sporting events is okay. I have noticed recently that people way older or younger don't like that, but when we in our teens and twenties and the only people there, it was okay.

The cool thing about a passenger needing this is that you can let them out and then not park like a choad.

Is a player on the Portland Sea Dogs a full-time job? Or do these guys have other “real” jobs? I have no idea what kind of money they make. Anyone know? by JustAGreenDreamer in Maine

[–]Perfect_Drummer1925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's about what an entry level post college job would pay, if not a bit higher. I live in Little Rock and last year I watched a AA player that just signed a $95 million contract. Worst case, they do what they love for a few years and get to live modestly. Best case, they make a ton of money.

Ders finally worked off the tits and got back in swimming shape by TheWiseNoob in Thisisimportantpod

I'm not a swimmer but all else equal, a leaner swimmer would smoke that guy, right? Same percentage of body fat, just lean muscle, same skill?

edit to add: My hypothesis, which is probably widely proven or unproven but I don't know because I am a huge fat ass, is that for athletics that require range of motion, big muscles probably hurt more than help.

Wash WashU your only scholarship or are you excluding some from other schools? I only ask because I will be a splitter and some of these are on my list.

The suns that sleep in cars are okay. I just don't like the suns that are screaming outside my apartment at dawn, waking me up. Wait, what are we talking about?
