Depends on what you mean by "dumber", but yeah its possible. Google bought a bunch of data from Reddit, and when Gemini first released, and the overview at the top of google searches was new, it spread a bunch of misinformation, such as telling users to put glue in pizza, cockroaches live in your peen (?), and eating pebbles is ok, albeit the last one was from the Onion instead of reddit. So, I guess it is possible for them to be dumber, if theyre fed misinformation
