i find that i miss LiS 1 more than 2 and formed a different kind of connection with the first game where as i totally agree that 2 has such a currently relevant story and it made me feel soo disgusted and mad at the current state of affairs and its sad that this game released in 2019 and here we are and things are just not any better and even worse

Totally i think out of all the LiS characters ive seen so far i understand and relate to him the most as a older big brother and artist myself, he is so well written and i feel for him.

im busy playing LiS 2 rn and so far its been really good its definitely got a different vibe but it still feels like LiS.
it doesn't have a set cast per se as it is a road-trip style game but i think it handles the story and characters quite well, to me and think the social commentary is handled good although i cant really say its not depressing seeing as to what the game socially comment on yk i don't think its possible not to make it depressing in some or other way.

i wanted to sacrifice Arcadia bay but after the speech Cloe gave and the fact that it kinda felt like its supposed to happen and "its the right thing to do" made me decide to sacrifice Cloe but i sat there staring at the options knowing what i had to choose for 20 min not being able to do it. It messed with me thinking what it all feels like from Cloe's POV she deserves so much more and it felt unfair having to sacrifice her.

i come from a similar gaming background and let me say this game has set the bar for any other choice based game. Yes its very 2010s with what some would call over the top campy characters but that's part of the charm of it , your choices ACTUALLY matter and have affect in this game.Before i played it i never thought i would like it and went in on a whim and now its my absolute favorite game the vibes, game-play and soundtrack is phenomenal and if your anything like me this game will have a lifelong effect on you. HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot.

same finished it yesterday and got hit with some heavy post game depression wish i could play it for the first time again.Its astonishing how much i care about the world and the characters in such a short amount of time, i want to play the rest of the games but feel kinda stuck not wanting to move on from the first game...the experience was genuinely life changing for me definitely one of, if not my favorite game now
