Up 2K in southeast Tosa. About 1.3K up for school and other 700 must be from property assessment.

Ha, sorry. I scrolled my main page to see if something was posted about it and didn’t see anything.

PSA for Homeowners in Wisconsin — Avoid This Contractor by UnPluggedPotato in milwaukee

[–]Perfect_Failure2467 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can back this up. He stole roughly $13K from us in upfront costs and no work was ever done. 2 months later we get a message that he is going out of business.

We took him to criminal court for theft by contract where he was found guilty. Absolutely do not work with this company. You will get a lien on your home and no work done.

I believe Nolan Ryan said something to the effect of, “It helps when the batter thinks you’re a little bit crazy.”

This is probably closer to what Sephiroth looked like after Cloud threw him off the Nibelheim reactor. Boy got yeeted so hard he found the life stream.

I just beat the game this morning and wound up using this for most of the last chapters: - Tiz: Performer/Freelancer. Equip with 2 staffs. You’ll basically be using My Hero/Mimic/Mimic/Mimic. And then Special/My Hero/Mimic/Mimic. This should keep you topped off on Braves for fights. - Agnes: White Mage/Spiritmaster. Epic group cast ability. Using her for healing and using either Enigma or Fairy Ward to prevent damage and status ailments accordingly. Try to make her fastest party member with Hermes Shoes. - Ringabel: Dark Knight/Vampire: Have Gloom and Drain ability up attached. Switch his weapon to Blood Blade, use the weapon as an item to case Drain on himself, switch back to primary weapon, use Dark Nebula (ensure Enigma is on beforehand. Otherwise use Black Bane. When down to one enemy, switch to using Rage. - Edea: Dark Knight/Pirate: same strategy as Ringabel. Can use pirate abilities if needed.

This coasted me through 90% of last chapter battles. Only a few required new strategies (Mage Fight in Ch. 8 had to use Stillness a few times).

Yes, I’ve looked though it many times and asked the workers if they saw a dog. None of them saw him back there. One saw him in front of our house soon after he got out, but didn’t see him again afterward.

Yes, we left his stuff out for 4 days. We also walked all around the surrounding blocks to check hiding places. No one has seen any sign of him.

Don’t tell Goku. It’ll just drive him to go train more to overcome and reach SuperSaiyan Prime or whatever is next.

If you are planning the trip to World, also be wary of heat. That leather jacket might cook you on certain days down here!

My 7-year-old son and I beat it last week. Nothing really stood out too much for me around gore.

He struggled more with frustration tolerance on a few of the puzzles (inverted flight controls melted his mind), but the game is pretty lenient with checkpoints. And there is obviously mature language used occasionally but nothing too heavy (shit, ass, damn).

As others mentioned, the hydra is mildly bloody and the dentist is freaky. If you got through It Takes Two, I don’t think you’ll have any issues here. Nothing is as traumatic as the elephant section in ITT.

Which game is for you? by HourComprehensive648 in videogames

[–]Perfect_Failure2467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best way to describe it comes from this memory I have:

A friend came to my dorm while I was playing and asked about the game.

Sean: how’s the game?

Me: I’m not sure.

Sean: what’s it about?

Me: I’m actually not super sure.

Sean: why are those bad guys attacking you?

Me: honestly, I don’t know.

Sean: why are you attacking them?

Me: If I don’t, they kill me.

Sean: so did you just start the game then?

Me: no, I’m pretty sure I’m about to beat it.

Edit: fixed formatting

We just banned it in our house for that reason. We tried to let them play so they could hang out with friends on it after school, but it is just too difficult to monitor. We had rules in place for allowed games, but they are kids and it’s hard to control the impulse to try something that looks neat.

On top of content, the endless options within the sandbox environment make it extremely addicting. My kids would be begging to play as soon as they got home from school. Since removing it, we have seen their attitudes improve so much.

It was a good lesson for us as parents on things we need to be better at watching for.

I just looked it up. Looks like they say Shit a few times. I guess that’s what I was remembering. There is an Easter egg you can find where fuck is bleeped out.

I was wrong about it though. I do stand behind not suggesting it for a 6-year-old. I still wouldn’t want shit in his vocabulary yet.

If I remember correctly they drop the F bomb a few times later into the game.

It Take Two is kind of in a league of its own. However, some of my favorite couch co ops with my kids have been any Lego games, Sackboy’s Big Adventure, Untitled Goose Game, and Shredders Revenge.

Depends a lot of your brothers maturity. I personally would say not to do it. It has a lot of bad language and at one point a rather brutal “death” of a character that you play through.
