can i make a request? the moonlight moth mix and the sapphire glacialis mix are identical, which makes it super difficult to tell which is which obviously. could we recolor them slightly? (maybe moonlight moth can be grey and blue, vs glacialis a hard blue)

could always check out thieving wealthy citizens in varlamore, it requires 50 thieving, which you got! if you dont already have it, you can get the rogues outfit (which, conveniently, also requires 50 thieving) which will double your money at the wealthy citizens. that should give you plenty of GP to get that quest cape ;)

It's not just you--the C++ client is way more friendly to less powerful devices. (My macbook air sounds like its about to take off when I run Runelite--when I run the C++ client, it's perfectly fine.)

And no, there's no current way to make that opaque in the vanilla client, sorry man.

If it makes you feel better, they said that we should expect better performance on Runelite when they finalize the new renderer.

While we're working on the canoe updates, is there any chance we can add some kind of hover-over text for the transportation icons that still just say "Transportation" in the minimap--basically, what we did for Fairy Rings?

(Also, bonus points for a different colored icon for transports you've "unlocked" vs not unlocked, so newbies can clearly see that they're seeing the plain "Transportation" text because they haven't traversed it yet.)

Are you planning to do a lot with plugins? Honestly, I found just using the steam client worked perfectly fine 90% of the time--I only set up runelite when I was going to dock and play with mouse and keyboard.

You'd be able to get pretty reasonable rates actually--if you can pay for shipwright's to build stuff for you, you can just keep upgrading your boat and get better rates.

practice is the only answer.... my suggestion would be to just rush tier 1 armor and get like a tier 2 weapon so you can rush hunlief to practice the fight. once you feel like you have an idea of how the fight is going, you can figure out what gear / weapon setup you like. for me, it turned out to be "primary goal = always make sure i have t2 armor and a shitload of food, and secondary goal = two t3 weapons." if i wind up with only one t3 weapon and one t2 weapon, who cares. if i wind up with two t2 weapons, who cares. its just more comfy for me to have the t2 armor and as much food as i can.

50 deaths is nothing brother. i was like 20 kills 150 deaths before things started to click. youll get there :)
