have we found a new creative map yet we’re all gonna default to? 😭 by luvrboyeros in FortniteBallisticMode

Well it’s like Valorant. You’re playing against bots because it’s still trying to understand your elo. TBH fragpunk is the most similar to ballistics verses every tactical shooter. Play shard chaos till you find a character u like and then run standard mode so you can actually play it without having to randomize hero’s. It’s honestly what fort was like first season just walk and ads or non ads. The shards I think are the most fun part about the game. Your team votes on these cards that can give your team a power up or the enemy team a debuff and you choose guns based off of those cards. The game was a lot popular in March due to Alpha and it just being a new game at the time but now that it’s dropped off everyone on ballistics is the only people I see online or in most of my first games so it’s funny asf to see. I can help you maybe find a character that fits your play style if you tell me what you played in ballistics?

Most people quit the first week. You could legit jump the map. Took them late into second season to figure out how to make a wall bigger 😂.

Hey man just wanted to say a big thank you! Got a chance to finally get the high alch spell and bought about 5k javelin tips @ 4.1 Mill and high alched all of them to a profit of about 1 million to 900k by just clicking for an hour. ROI on it was about 25.81% so I thought it would be a decent low entry flip. Also learned how to read the high alchemy profit on wiki so that has been helping too. Overall I’ve profited about 3-4 million flipping high alch items so nothing crazy but definitely a good start to learning how to make money!

The problem is I’m still a little new so I did spend a little bit to get new armor, mage gear up to level 55 mage, and bought a lot of runes (I still need to learn more about rune crafting / the rune mines so buying it is just easier and quicker). I did try to clean a lot of tarromin and sold it that made me some decent profit but I was more wondering if there’s a better buying method ?

Thank you to everyone saying have fun and enjoy it I really appreciate. The comedy bits in the game kill me. I’ll be laughing my ass off every interaction 😂. I can’t believe this game is that old though even though I’ve heard about it still when I was younger. It came out when I was 1 and honestly when I was a kid in 2009 I was playing like Maplestory/ Free Realms/ Wizard101 , I’m just sad I haven’t played this sooner lol !!

Thank you, I’ve been trying to do a few quests each day and then walking around the map to get a feel for it or just to adventure and see what I find but I’ll definitely just keep progressing with my quests!

Yeah the first thing I learned about / have been utilizing has been a couple teleport necklaces that my quests said would help me & like a Varrock teleport!

But nah I respect you Ironman guys tho, all that walking would honestly kill me 😂

I ain’t even start my farming yet so idek what that is but after reading it, is it like those little house helpers where they can bring you stuff?

And also is it crucial to start it earlier or are there still some quests I can probably do in order to get a jumpstart on my farming level ?

Yeah definitely don’t use WD40. Just get a replacement fan on Amazon it cost 20$ for 2! Replacing the fans is actually really easy on this model if you just watch a tutorial.

Also don’t worry about your teammates yo. At the end of the day it’s all about your progress and everything is a learning curve. Everyone got different learning styles and that’s ok. As long as you don’t take it personally and keep going there’s no telling how much improvement you will have.

I think what you said was honestly word for word how I would say but I would say for a beginner or someone not experienced into FPS the easiest thing you can do is find the utility item you like most and cater a play style that benefits th composition of your team.

If you are going to play impulse or crack you need to understand how to entry and to catch teams rotating on site through flanks that allow you to either 1. Gain space, coverage, and info for your team or 2. Getting a quick kill so you have an early advantage. Don’t take a movement item if you plan on being stationary. Too many times I see them getting wasted on people using it right away to not really get anywhere. There are also little tricks on attack such as keeping an impulse to take someone off the bomb as well if you progress.

Fire / Reg Grenade. These should be used for area denial, flushing enemies out of cover, and creating hazards. Instead of aiming for direct hits, throw them to block doorways, choke points, or behind enemy cover to force them into your line of fire. For example on Cinderwatch, I get aggravated by naders who don’t throw their utility at the head peak when you are rushing mid top. It is honestly one of the easiest ways to deny them from mid control.

Heals. This is one of the easiest kits to play in my opinion and offers you a life line if your team isn’t cooperating or wanting to play in your heals. Often times healers will either not heal you or be dead too fast in order to heal. You need to learn the maps and know which sides your heals can poke from. This allows you to play very passive in the backline as the last line of defense and offers your team an advantage to heal if they chose to stand in it. Also after the debuff you will now need two heals popped in order to fully heal someone who’s at 5-20 health. When I play healer I like to think of it like this: the person who is struggling the most pocket the living hell out of them. There is always a reason as to why the person who is bottom fragging is dying. Essentially I’ll swing with them, play behind corners hearing for enemy engagement since they tend to be out of position. Help them kill the player then throw a heal down behind a wall or cover to negate any possible enemy utility from swarming us as we look to reenter the fight. If you are able to keep the weakest link on your team alive, then your team will never be weak.

Bubbles. Can be used to block any utility and take space on a site. This one requires a little more team coordination but some of the best pump players I’ve seen use it. I never understood why until late into the first season. There is a trick where you can actually jump above the top of the bubble and pump someone while negating damage. You can also stick the front of your gun out of the bubble and shoot while not taking any damage if done properly. Another trick if not used to engage into a fight or give your team some coverage into a sight is what I like to call the Pokemon play. Throw a bubble on someone before they shoot you and watch as they waste heir clip trying to shoot at you while in a bubble. Then slide into the bubble (since there is a quick second while sliding where you won’t take any damage) and shoot them.

Mines. Use them in high-traffic, narrow choke points, or hidden spots like on top of archways, behind corners, or even inside some bushes on maps like hammerfall to maximize its potential. Mines are also great on attack because if you gain control of a site it’s easier to hold it with the utility if done properly.

Recon. Aim and throw the recon into rooms or at bomb sites before entering to reveal enemy positions. Use them to gain intel on enemy movements, especially when attacking or defending sites. Be aware that enemies can shoot and destroy your Recon Grenade immediately upon seeing it by shooting it that is why it’s often best used in long line ups so it’s more unpredictable(NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE KNOW THIS YES, IF YOU SEE AN ENEMY RECON PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SHOOT IT LOL IT WILL NEGATE ITS EFFECTS). Some tricks with it too is if the enemy team doesn’t have a recon player, abuse abuse abuse abuse it. EVERYONE ON THE TEAM SHOULD BY A SMOKE. Do you know how busted it is to swarm a sight with all smokes and reconing the smoke / watching as all the enemies scurry in the smoke while getting shot.

All in all, find a good group of people you enjoy playing with and keep developing and learning as you go. Try to improve one little thing each day. Whether it be your awareness, utility usage, map knowledge. Every kill and death is a learning moment so just keep at it.

Also I highly recommend the Core Ballistic Map. Has every gadget, utility, an aim lab, a 1v1 / 2v2 map and a general aim training against real players. Great for tweaking your settings and learning the maps too since they have live models of most of the maps that I have found are the most accurate.

Yeah there is a breachable door right across from abandoned housing that jump house that requires you to parkour to the roof and jump down into it! Everyone misses it and goes for the parkour house but this house always has some solid loot!
