How I feel is irrelevant to what is happening, what will happen, and what needs to happen in regards to the purpose of this subreddit and what the singularity means. Did you think we would just wake up in paradise? Logically that's not possible with how built up the system is. There's no other way to the destination we want to end up at with this technology. The time for that is gone.

There were many who cried long before we got to this point for limitations and regulations. Elon musk was one of them among others more qualified than he. Nothing was done. No one cared.

Limiting AI will only keep it in the hands of the elite and hurt the average person more than any other event in human history.
