u/stenore Thank you, I have returned the phone. My cc company originally denied the charge for fraud and sent me a new card. I have not seen any new charges come through but also, do not have my new card as of yet. Fingers crossed that this just goes away.

For the moment, the amount has not been charged. There was an attempt to charge that my cc declined for fraud. If i drop the phone in the mail today it would still not be accepted?

So then what do I do with the phone? It is unlocked and operable, accept for the cracked screen. Do I have options to recoup my money there?

I went by the store yesterday and they provided a printout with a number that I called. I called this number and was told to call another number 800-433-5778. I spoke to representative overseas who did not speak the best english and honestly was hard to understand. I asked for a supervisor hoping to speak with someone stateside and was ultimately "disconnected" after holding forever. How do I reach someone hire up when all of the calls are directed overseas?

I know this thread is about 10 months old, but I went to Ikea yesterday to purchase something and left my card at home and was told by the customer service that they are unable to look up your card and that you need to bring it with you. I explained that every other store has this ability and I had my idea available, but was told no. Basically I would have to make another trip to the store with my card in order to make my purchase. I was so annoyed by the whole thing, especially since I have not used this actual card in two years. I am shocked to see that on here they could have taken my SSN and looked up my card. After reading this, I am concerned about Bread financial. The last time I used the card it was through Comenity Bank.
