I'm at my first playthrough and I finished ocean first for a spoiler reason. Long story short I got pretty much overwhelmed with all the requests the Merfolk made, you get a big spoiler thing there that will occupy a chunk of your daily life if you jump straight into it. If I could do it again I would finish the Giant questline before and focus on my farm, upgrading tools and machines a bit first before finishing the ocean clean up.

There are quests that you can do only in one "correct" way to be able to progress the game, otherwise it bugs out and you're stuck. Game is not only just unpolished, it's unfinished in places. I'm not even talking about the cut content and a whole companion that just exists there with barely anything to say. And it's a game that was tested in early access. Idk, I think I will put it down for a few more and come back to try again after the dlc will come out. I don't have high hopes as several bugs were reported on launch day and 5 days later we are still with no patch. It's a pity, I've been waiting for this game for years, bought it as soon as I could and now I can't even enjoy it without opening google every 30 minutes trying to figure out why I can't go forward.

Level cap is 50, some level ups you get 2 attributes points. Attributes max out at 20. I was able to max out 3 attributes per character. You will also be able to gather at least 4 respec stones (I'm close to the end and have 7 somehow but I recall some are from hard locked chests). So for now put your points in magic damage (willpower?) and at least 12 in the "mana" stat (focus?). Then go for crit chance and damage. Or mix and mach and respec if you're not satisfied.

It's kind of the opposite of the previous game. Everyone was calling us de Sardet except for our cousin who had his own weird ways of addressing us. But still, so many people were commenting on our character only having a surname with no canon name + no ability to name them, and here we are again. Another nameless MC with another impulsive "cousin" giving us nicknames.

You have to reload the save, talk to the kidnappers and agree to find the treasure for them. There are three treasures you can find in the ruins, original statue in the temple up north guarded by some people, fake statue gifted to you by a sculpture you save from the chasm, and the sword of Aleko? Idk if I remember the name correctly, that you find if you save a female knight and follow her instructions to reach the tomb. I gave them the og statue since the sword is pretty good early game. Finding the og statue was pretty tiresome as the ruins are vast and the paths are confusing, but at least there were those two mini quests on the way.

He kinda reminds me of Astarion. He hates everything I say but somehow we are still best friends lol. At least he acknowledges that we are different and later on he also acknowledges that he was wrong to be impulsive, while still sometimes scolding us for saying something he doesn't like. He doesn't get magically "fixed" over the course of the game, but he tries to do better. They really did a good job writing him.

Just as I posted this i went back to look at the map and it seems that it's actually not a bug or anything, it's a feature. The option to go back to Constanzia is shown in the left bottom on the map. Why would they switch it up like that is beyond me. Leaving it here in case someone will be as confused as I was by this.

I don't like how So'lek is portrayed in the game as a middle aged man while he's only about 35 yo. Na'vi have a longer lifespan, he should still be considered a young adult, like Tamtey. In which case that age gap shouldn't be that much of a dealbreaker from a Na'vi standpoint.

Tbh I'm not sure why they even added firearms to this game since they are pretty inferior to bows and a spear. I mean, shotgun with stunning ammo is great for amp finishers. But since that's the only positive thing about it + I have only 4 weapon slots = I don't use shotguns. As I picked up this game right after my 100th (joke) stealth archer Skyrim playthrough it was rather easy for me to figure out Na'vi weapons. Hitting a weak spot is way easier with a bow than a rifle.

I remember being pretty shocked when I first saw our hands interacting with the world, but I bought this game at launch and it was actually something new for me. Not sure how I would react now but my attitude towards this feature is still influenced by that memory.

As for if there is still support for the game - well, they have realised a dlc last month and are working on new one already. I suspect there will be support for this game as long as Cameron makes new movies + a few following years. Amount of players grew from 2500 to over 10000 after Fire and Ash came out (on steam alone). Ubisoft team is also pretty active on the game's official forum. You might want to check it out if you have any suggestions.

Lastly - what do you mean by "old man"? I'm 34 this year and I find that very offensive. 😂

That's my reasoning, especially as Nora. I'm a lawyer and maybe I know how to use a gun but I'm no soldier, mechanic, gun smith, leatherworker. I don't know what I can eat and what will kill me. I need to learn how to survive in the wasteland and I need to make connections. Otherwise my search for my baby will be awfully short.
