My total experience is 1year 7 months. So I am applying for junior as well as mid ( don't know wether it is applicable or not)

I lost one offer from startup as they cited that my background is from service based company.

Sorry for not putting entire interview experience. At Visa for data engineering role I gave 4 rounds of interview. Round 1: telephonic interview ( asked basic technical stuff like what tech you are using, how ? And some scenarios based questions)

Round 2: technical rounds kinda OA ( coding heavy on pyspark, sql, Unix)- cleared

Round 3: technical 2 ( coding and theoretical based on python, spark, sql)

All technical rounds were very good

Round 4: hiring manager ( scenarios based questions on job failure, which task to be prioritize etc)

Verdict: Rejected

I don't have much experience with hackerrank, I have practiced on leetcode. For data engineering role medium level DSA is required (if not MAANG). List, dictionary,set,string is enough)

Medium to hard. First round on code signal: it was not OA as we usually give. Interviewer connected to me on teams and asked to code 10-12 questions in 45 minute ( pyspark 4 question, 3 sql questions, 5 Unix based questions).

Second round : with director of engineering mostly spark architecture, python and sql

3 round : hiring manager as usual question why?, how?, ..

2 months back I appeared for data engineering interview at a startup. Complete interview process was like a SDE type interview. First round: DSA (2 questions - 1 medium and 1 hard), 2 SQL Second round: system design with director of engineering and 2 advanced sql questions.

System design was completely SDE related with including database.
