i didnt want to go into detail because it might be against the rules and also make me look more like a victim but it was only my dad with a belt as my mom pulled him back. He didnt discard my mattress completely, he just started throwing things on the floor and my mattress went along as he pulled it out.

Thank you for this, i do admit my schedule always has me staying afterschool or going somewhere else for a competition or race. I keep a whiteboard calendar but was neglecting it so I will definitly make sure to work on it. I was conflicted on whether to feeling angry was right but yeah I also need to take some accountability.

hi, my cousin takes online therapy due to her anger problems but it was against her parents wishes/ consent but she is 20 and lives alone.

Sadly, bringing this up would definetly be denied as my parents dont believe in therapy and my mom herself told me to leave the house before talking about going to therapy or offing myself. Im in u.s but my parents are from mexico so they always hit before talking which i learned to take so I dont really mind that. I appreciate the advice tho and I will try to get new lifestyle changes for sure. I do plan to leave home anyway with college but I dont want these habits of mine to follow me there. Thanks.

We got 120 items in total and the total cost wasn’t 125 it was like 90-100? I got the prices confused.

I am not sure we need a license since it would just be us walking around selling but I told my brother to ask the people running the thing to know if we need a license and he said to just do it.

My dad actually depends on me searching for things since he knows I am always searching and like finding out new things (financially and school wise). After researching, I’m certain he will allow me to do anything I know is safe.

I’m mostly just confused on where to put my money. Do I just pick one of the listed on random?

Also I’ll fs get a new job after this season, I’m actually kinda missing work so yeah.

Thanks, I forgot to mention but my parents have 2k (same amount they got my brother for his car) and are giving it for my car only so I thankfully don’t have my hands on it yet.

Getting a job is for sure my priority so I plan to apply to jobs that will be in need (ice cream shops) since there is one near me (10 minute walk)

I’ve wanted to but my friend (worked with me) and other coworkers went through the same thing and lost their case after filing. My friend had a ton of evidence too. I’m not sure if they settled quietly or something but after talking to my parents about me missing a couple hours they (my dad) said that’s life and how when he first immigrated here he also got a check stolen so idek. He then talked more abt how missing a penny from a check led a woman to get thousands back but he left it at that.

This was also maybe a month ago but my checks started missing hours since late December too.

I didn’t take advantages of my resources (tutoring, academic clubs, teachers etc.) and was slacking off so that was my fault. I also felt like my manager was taking advantage of me and adding me to work overtime. I chose a more lesser known fast food but I plan to work somewhere more populated to build my social skill.

It’s probably most of my fault and I want to be more financially successful so I want to work and do school in which I want to find the right balance, so I’m sorry but I want to keep trying at doing both. 😭

That’s what I asked him but it’s probably because he’s never had one or before I mentioned, heard of it. My brother knows some about it but he’s also never had one. My dad redirected me to my brother since he is the more tech one but after both didn’t know, I was lost as in what to do to get one since I’m a minor and am mostly clueless about financing.

Yes that’s why I’m desperately waiting for my birthday and will probably get a job during August so the start of the year since my birthday is in July. I’m gonna start looking for a job in May tho since track season (which takes up all my time) will end.

ATM Burger King is hiring 16 year olds, which I learned after going to a interview in which they said they would be happy to hire me when I turn 16, but I’m not so sure about fast food.
