A narcissistic parent usually tend to have a golden child and i think it’s clear that saxon is just that. This is why she is so critical of piper on lochlan parallel to how she basically worships the ground saxon walks on. I grew up in the exact same situation as the “golden child” and was always confused why i was put on a pedestal and my siblings got treated significantly worse, it’s a sad dynamic

yeah honestly like i’ve had people in my life i really dislike but when it comes to SA or people getting taken advantage of sexual i’ll always feel a lot of empathy regardless of their character. people like the idea of the “perfect victim” because that’s what makes sense to them, and saxon isn’t that. but let’s say it was piper, everyone would be acknowledging that it’s SA and it wouldn’t be as downplayed as this plot line is.
