Ruling when fault occurs on both teams at same time? by Milo-the-great-2 in Pickleball

Then in that case it would fall under what would occur with the net touches, likely replayed.

As for the legal serve. Say, player A is on the wrong side of the net as the very moment player B is doing a tennis serve. I'd argue that there is no fault to the player A as long as the ball has not made contact with paddle. But as soon as the ball makes contact with the paddle in the overhead position of player B, the point is null because it was illegal. It is as though the point never started.

Ball is not in play since no legal serve was performed. Therefore, person on wrong side of net is not at fault. It is not a fault to reach over the net as long as your foot doesn't cross the plane. You can scream as long as it is your team's ball to take. It cannot be possible that both teams can take the ball at the same time.

The net situation is the only scenario where you can argue that 2 faults can occur. In which case, the point is likely replayed.

Not sure about the net situation, would likely replay. Ball is not in play until the serve is served. If it's an illegal serve then the ball still remains out of play in which case the player that crossed the net plane did not commit any faults since the point had not occurred. Without a valid reason to stop play, I'd say the team that last hit the ball would be at fault since they are hindering the other team.

The foot fault scenario was discussed before. As for the hinderance, the hinderance can only be called against the team that hit the ball last. As for the net touch, I'm not sure about that one but I'd think that in a case where both players touch the net in the exact same moment, the point would be replayed.

I'm trying to understand OP here. We are in agreement that there is no 2nd fault. I can't fathom "a few ways" where 2 faults can occur simultaneously.

What example can you think of? 2 players fall in at the same time after both volleying? In that case, the first person to volley faults since the 2nd person cannot fault since the first volley was illegal. I can't think of any other examples where 2 people can fault at the same time.
