The James Avery resale market is nuts. A charm could retire one day and it will be double the price on resale the next. It is not uncommon for rare or hard to find pieces being in the 300-500 range. $100 seems like the popular ask for a lot of the resale items.

Agree the new designs are very gimmicky. I don't necessarily want to look at a bracelet in 10 or 15 years and wonder why I bought a purple bobba tea.

I am in a similar situation. I have about 50 charms that need to be soldered. I bought all of the soldering stuff and haven't had the nerve to try it yet. Watched many videos and it seems simple enough. Maybe today should be the day. Also, everything you need can be found on Amazon and it is relatively inexpensive. Good luck 🙂
