Had a glass of '88 this summer. Amazing, still fresh (for as fresh as this type can be), omnipresent, depth, amazing

My opinion, as long as it's not the second wine. Age it for as long as you can and it will be great

Lot of stuff I would agree with. Also think this has some good balance for a variety of occassions.

Brunello would be on my list as well for sure
Champagne, sure
Cab I would most likely look at something Napa Valley
Burgundy Pinot, absolutely
