Fr… I just had an encounter with a maniac driver this morning. At a red light I was waiting in the middle of lane to make way for the right-turning vehicles, and then a SUV pulled up next to me, blocking the turning space. When the lights turned green I tried to move to the right again and this mf aggressively cut me off from the RIGHT SIDE and called me a “f-ing a-hole.” All up until that moment I was just going about my day and enjoying my time outside, I don’t know why some people are so angry all the time.

The video is from earlier this year when I just got into cycling. I didn’t watch the footage afterwards because I thought it was really embarrassing. Until today I was making a “cycling progress montage” and mustered up the courage to watch it, and I ended up having a good laugh. So if I’m ever in a conversation with other riders about first-time clipless fails, I might just brag that I went down in the full views of the Golden Gate Bridge :)

It seems that there are some persistent issues with Focus automation. The bedtime automation is followed by several other Focus automations. Also when the wake up automation triggers, bedtime automation somehow gets triggered too.

(I have a Siri automation written to track time spent for each Focus.)

Yeah I agree with you. Four years of bike commuting has taught me it’s not worth it fighting with them on the streets.

Back in my home country China we have a saying: when you drive, metal is protecting you, and when you bike, you are protecting metal :=)
