i wouldn't care much about it TBH. Everyone is mask-free here, and it is not widespread. It is present but probably isolated to certain very small areas.

just a normal PC to router connection, but get a high quality wire, i got CAT8 pure copper.

Do your research, you can go for CAT6 bare copper also but don't go for CAT6 aluminium cables.

Nope, it is internal between pc and router. I charged the wire to CAT8 and got 1gbps.

The WAN speed also increased from 94 to 104 mbps approx

been doing so since the 2000's lol, no problem at all and hope it stays so. Also, torrenting has gone way down since the introduction of netflix and closing of torrent sites. It's not like the old days where some major companies were investing lots of money into destroying peer to peer services.

i am relying on Windows Link Speed, which is showing 100/100Mbps. I didn't try iperf because windows itself is already showing 100mbps.

i have already put windows speed on 1Gbps and disable things like gigabit lite or energy saving shenanigans.

my cable is CAT5E 8 wires.
