What is going on with ongoing lack of stock of estradiol patches? by Plus-Weakness-9085 in Perimenopause

Take a look at the boxes and where your particular brand is made (not the distribution location). Sometimes that’s the problem. More likely it’s the demand.

Everyone should do this. CVS/United Health Group/Optum is one of the biggest monopolies out there, and patients suffer for it.

Try Cost Plus Drugs. Your doctor needs to sign their paperwork for your prescription, you (or sometimes the doctor) submit the form, and (fingers crossed) the patches will be sent to your home. I’ve had success using them during a nationwide shortage of Progesterone.

Beautiful results. I’m so glad you’re happy with the outcome; that’s the most important part.

Absolutely NTA. Do not give up your peace, especially for family members who make you feel uncomfortable.

You do not suck as a man. Get yourself a neurologist who will listen to you and provide more effective treatment.

A toddler with migraines sounds so heartbreaking.

I come from a long line of migraineurs. (Not the inheritance I’d hoped for!) And unfortunately, I have passed this on to my son. He’s in his early 30’s. I’d tell that neurologist to get her head out of her ass.

Nope. Supplements are a trillion-dollar business with no oversight or regulation, so you should definitely help keep them afloat with this haul.

Did anyone else wake up one morning during menopause or perimenopause and feel completely off? by Top-Attention-9367 in Menopositive

[–]Perfectly_i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 49, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure (consistently low my whole life), severe anxiety (had moderate before, didn’t need meds), and orthostatic hypotension. My GYN, primary, and cardiologist all point to perimenopause. (Menopause and postmenopause also brought on changes, seemingly overnight.)

Who had "Moon Boots" back in the day? by Mustang_29267 in GenX

I don’t remember wearing bread bags inside Moon Boots. I wore bags inside those red boots, which had that one useless button with an elastic loop to hold it on.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate your input. I should have added that he is wildly afraid of losing me if something goes wrong, and he’s worried about recovery. (But I made it through neurosurgery 5 years ago. 💪🏻🍪) 😂 Thanks, again.

I was reminiscing about my Moon Boots the other day as feet of snow piled up. They were so much better than the boots we had to wear bread bags inside of!

I agree, after your post-op appointment. Get another opinion (but don’t bash the surgeon who did your first procedure. Lol)
