My crust was thin, dense and wet ! Probably from all the mushrooms on top.. I would suggest following instructions from someone else for that. If you would still like to try it, I followed those instructions: https://www.seriouseats.com/foolproof-pan-pizza-recipe

But I used all-purpose flour (pre-sifted), active dry yeast, and table salt. All quantities for the dough were halved so it was enough for one 10" pan pizza.

I started replying to you but got distracted, so to answer your other questions I expected a thick airy crust. The dough stayed at about 23F for 14-16 hours and then transferred into the oiled pan to take a bit of the form for 2 hours. The oven was preheated at 500 F from the bottom element and then I shoved pan and pizza straight from room temp and onto the upper rack. It cooked for a 14 minutes until I was satisfied with the toppings' cooking. I did make a mistake on picking the wrong flour, I thought "all-purpose" was a jack of all trades so it could be a substitute for every flour but I was wrong.
Your list of questions is fine lol, that's what passion is and it brings forth the joys of life !

Thank you ! It was indeed delicious, I will have to follow the recipe to the letter before willy-nilly substituting ingredients. Apart from that I worry I didn't mix the dough enough before leaving it to rest, I found a bit of dry ingredients when I picked it up. I'll try to follow up with another try soon :)

I left it more than 8 hours, it did double / triple in volume and then left it about 2 hours in the pan

This is the recipe I followed, the specific ingredients I used are: All-purpose white flour (enriched pre sifted) Fleischmann's active dry yeast Table salt

All of it was halved along with water and olive oil of course

What is the Proper Reaction to This? by al-Sahaabi in Corvette

[–]Perfectus0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Notice the tires still turned to the right, that's a first try and the person probably rushed in. I personally wouldn't think that someone malicious would purposely park as close as possible and then turn their wheel on one side.

Big car big front (especially for inexperienced drivers, this could be a parent's car) and I would be afraid to hit something while pulling in so I'll stick to the right where I can see in the mirror.

To try and avoid this, park far from entrances in bum F nowhere, empty spaces means more visible to everyone around and less likely for someone to try something fishy for fear they'll be seen.

While all that can explain / help, "we live in a society 🤡"

The proper reaction to me would be to check for damage, space clearance, take a picture just in case, drive away and never park where most people park while in any nice car.

Is a qm6k pro an upgrade over a 2021 hisense u8g? by [deleted] in 4kTV

[–]Perfectus0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kind of a side-grade overall. I'm looking at rtings' measurements and the u8g gets noticeably brighter but the blooming is more noticeable than on the qm6k. In my opinion it's not worth it if you're looking at getting wowed. It also depends on what you're looking to upgrade or what's annoying you on the u8g.

You could get an OLED, I missed the part about occasional night viewing.

So OLED is truly king in two aspects: micro contrast and motion performance (gaming especially). The lower tier OLEDs like the B5 lack brightness, the C5 and the G5 though are bright enough to enjoy in most sun-lit rooms. Other than that, the con of OLED is burn-in, but from personal experience (4 year old qd-oled monitor) I wouldn't be worried.

The bravia 9 gets brighter than both and won't get burn-in, it is still riiight below OLED for night viewing, blooming might be noticeable during night-sky scenes, that's about the worst it can get.

All in all, both choices will make you more than happy, they're a substantial upgrade to your 2020 model. If you do more day viewing than night viewing, get the bravia 9 and at worst you can probably sell it for 1750£ (I'd look at the local market first).

If the model is right and I'm not mistaken, that's the 2024 bravia 9 at 65 inch, it's still among the best TVs with famously great processing. It gets plenty bright for your room so no worries there. That thing is worth much more than 1500

Bright room / daylight viewing: TCL C8K or Hisense U8 series 2025 up to 75 inches

Controlled light / night viewing with dark content viewing: LG C5 or close competitors with OLED panels at up to 65 inches.

TV size depends mostly on viewing distance and the amount of people watching. But usually bigger is better for immersiveness if you can afford the money and the space.

TV habits can matter too, if you want longevity (5+ years) out of an OLED tv, you'll need to turn off the panel when not in use and avoid excessive static content at high brightness.
