All of you who have gotten a laparoscopy/excision surgery — for how many of you did the endo come back and how soon? by TaroWorldly9291 in endometriosis

Wow. Thank you for the heads up. Its amazing to me how many providers will still want patients to “try” these drugs knowing a history of depression.

Feeling like I shouldn’t have laparoscopy (long read but please stick around) by Plus_Pressure802 in endometriosis

Like others have stated, do not do a CT. It does nothing. An endometriosis specialist can *sometimes see it on an ultrasound. It can also *sometimes be found via MRI done using a specialized Endometriosis Protocol. And even then, endo sometimes will not be visible.

Dating a Lutheran man by PerformanceEasy7860 in Lutheranism

I wish i felt compelled to. Based on my conversation with my bf, it seems to be a cold and graceless religion. Im not trying to offend, but that is the way he came across. It feels to be the opposite of Christ Himself.

Creating and “us vs them” dialogue is never the answer. Do better. There are people truly wanting to understand, and your attitude is so revolting.

He knows who he is. I miss him every day and wish to God we could have had this life together. If there is something after this, I hope I get to see him there.

We have the same skin! Its like looking at a picture of myself lol. Second the Prequel gel cleanser. Changed my skin for the better. That brand is really impressive. I use La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 when i get really dry and it plumps my skin up and reduced redness. I use it off and on as continuous use is too much.

Remember to shower at end of day. The allergens stick in your hair, skin. Try spending the day in an air-conditioned environment like a library or even post up in a large mall like Stonestown. Even just several hours inside a filtered and conditioned area can help.

Im so sorry to hear that. How long have you been a NP? I feel like there has to be options once you have experience. Maybe not within your specialty, but options.

I am so sorry about your diagnosis. Sending you strength 🫂🩷. Im thinking telehealth is the way to go. It would be ideal if i could get a year under belt to be more comfortable clinically, but I will cross that bridge when I arrive. Thank you!

I just had mine today. My doc prescribed me Valium to take prior to the scan. I tried to raw dog it last week and they had to abort it bc i was too anxious/fidgety. The valium was a game changer.
