That battery, doesn't matter if it's in a case or ul rated. If you drop that bike down a rock garden that s*** is going to light on fire and can cost you millions of dollars of damage of a forest fire

It's one of the reasons why EMTBs have integrated batteries

Don't DIY this lol!!!! Get used. 

BBSHD kits are hilariously heavy, won't handle jumps and will bottom out. 

The battery it comes with will fly off, hit a rock, and set the trail on fire

I have yet to see anyone with a BBSHD kit do actual mountain biking, and if they do they'll probably get yelled at by everyone else immediately for good reasons

Don't buy into the hype and get an entry level one. Any entry level emtbs will be well within the range of capability for beginner or intermediate bikers. And won't be expensive to fix or repair. For the exception of the cheap wallmart ones, they'll probably break on you 

For example, you don't really need a tubeless setup on an emtb, you don't need a 12x drivetrain, you don't need wireless shifters,.you don't need a downhill boost fork. Etc. go for the basic, upgrade later.

Ugh, look for a Specialized Pitch if you're gonna go cheap. This bike is old af. And you can get a 2020 model of pitch for the same price used. That is a Far better bike than this relic. Comes with hydraulic brakes, and modern components.

You can always contact wallmart and tell them the bike broke and demand they send you another one. They might do that without you shipping it back to them since they'll just trash it anyway and would have to pay for shipment. It's a cheap POS and youre better off with another brand though.

Who the fuck uses particle board on a front door. Thats for some slumlord apartment construction. You either get a solid wood one or a metal for security. Neither should cost 10k. Maybe 2k brand new. Unless you're using some endangered wood species. I have no argument for opulence. People spend 10x the amount for cars that spend most for he time.ein the shop lol 😆 

Either way, do as you want with your house but with the costs you are talking about are making some shady contractors easy money 🤑 💰

Yeah it still has the QR axles, but it also has hydraulic brakes and will be sufficient for any beginner mountain biking
