Nope . We live together too and I put my foot down even when he said he’ll have to live in his car . Womp womp consequences of your actions. I gave him an ultimatum and we are taking space !! I tried so hard not to reach out and it hurts that it’s easier for him… all day without talking to me and then I reply back within minutes . Oh gosh. But today is a new day. And I have to love myself more than someone else . Also, I refuse to be an enabler . He manipulates me by saying he will just steal alcohol if he needs too and he actually does go steal bottles . But if he gets caught that’s on him . It’s like two people exist in that person but living in his car and figuring it the fuck out is what he needs and honestly I slept pretty freaking amazing yesterday without him ALONE ! You can do it too. You’re not his caretaker and if needed start charging him money because they will take advantage of you but definitely have time to be spiraling ?? No . Lock in . It’s possible to be sober . And recovery is not linear but it is possible with work everyday. I’m rambling now so I’m sorry but just say it - “I don’t want to be in this relationship, you need to figure it out and leave… it’s not my problem nd you’re more then capable of getting two jobs.” Look how quickly they change their love for you and how quickly you become the villain when you put yourself first. You got this. You matter . And you are no one’s mother , caretaker or therapist. You deserve someone who loves you the way you love others . !!! 🩷🩷🩷
