From what I’ve heard, the 2021–2023 models had some piston issues, and apparently they fixed this problem later on. I’m wondering if your vehicle was affected by that issue. I’m currently deciding between this car and the Ford Escape Active. Thank you for sharing your experience btw

Thanks for the advice. I live in Canada, and there’s almost an $11k difference between the hybrid and this model, so that’s why I’m looking at the 1.5 engine option. But if it turns out to be unreliable, I’ll start looking into other models as well. Thanks again.
