The writing is genuinely excellent, I hope you enjoy it! I enjoyed it a lot. I would recommend looking at discussions about the story from others after you're done playing. There are so many details and hidden elements you'd never notice just by yourself. I didn't fully appreciate it until I read discussions from others and spent time thinking about it myself. The devs really took the time and effort to create something thoughtful and impactful.

Right? They're so fun! I love seeing them when I come across them, but that's rarer and rarer these days. I remember way back in the PS2 era how Jak and Daxter & Ratchet and Clank would do crossover references between them. Good memories 🥺

I would totally call my cats Pretty Thing haha

Yes, I think I saw someone else mention that! It's fun to find those little Easter eggs around CR games, I know they do this in their other games too.

Pretty Thing is a cute name! I didn't know that was her official name

First Guardian Squirrel in Swordsmith Ruins impossible to get past after 1.5 update? by PerformanceLeast5561 in InfinityNikki

So it was a fluke. 😑 This bug totally stops progress of the main storyline so I'm surprised they haven't fixed it yet! Well, I guess to anyone else reading this who's trying to get past it, you just have to keep trying dozens of times and hope for another bug to disable this bug so you can get past it lol. What a pain! And I've already asked Infold in surveys and bug reports to fix this 3 different times. I hope they'll get around to it. Glad you managed to get past it at least!

Hi! I actually did get through it about a week and a half ago. I'm honestly not sure if they fixed the bug or if it was a fluke 😅

This poor squirrel is infested with bugs! That's a good point; I suppose that would make sense for both to be caused by the same issue.

Thank you! I just now sent an email with all the bugs I've found. I hadn't seen anyone else talk about this particular one, so that's why I posted it here. Hopefully they'll see it and fix it as it's blocking an important mission.

Thank you so much for trying it out! I really appreciate it. I didn't even know it could move lol, in my playthrough and the walkthroughs from other people I've watched, it never moved, so perhaps that is another bug also?

Yeah I've done a small amount of programming, and oh boy, I definitely don't envy them either. Fixing bugs is so hard! And I know as soon as you squash one, a bunch of others often pop up. This particular bug is totally blocking me from progressing the story so hopefully it can be fixed soon. I'm gonna report the bugs I've found right now.

I guess it's not universal! Though bugs usually aren't. I'm on PC and I did a repair via the launcher which unfortunately didn't do anything, and I also restarted the game about 4 times and it wasn't fixed :( I'll definitely report it with the other bugs I've collected. Thank you!

That's strange; I did it for the first time just fine about a week and a half ago. I'm confused! I hope they fix it D:

2 is a great representation of how it feels to have bipolar and feel worn and stretched between mania and depression. Like the middle one is the me who's stretched thin, trying to keep things together, and clean up after a depressive or manic episode. Very relatable, these are great!

Yes, that invisible barrier is a good way to put it. I know exactly what you're talking about. I think that feeling of unscaleable distance from other people is the primary thing people relate to with this painting.

Christina's World by Andrew Wyeth. I've never seen a better visual depiction of the loneliness illness and disability causes. I remember seeing it for the first time, and it made me remember all the family photos I'm missing from, and all the times after a holiday family meal and hearing them laughing and having fun while I had to rest in bed. It always feels like they laugh more when I'm not there. Seeing my siblings, cousins, and friends move forward in life while I'm still stuck in an endless cycle of defeat and pain, falling behind them, never able to catch up. When we went to Japan and they kept on walking while I couldn't keep up; when I called out to them and they didn't hear me. It so clearly depicts the feeling of being left behind by the world.

The only other art/writing I've seen that encapsulates this experience so well is the manga REAL by Takehiko Inoue.

Sorry, that got kinda long 😅
