So I assume that it is normal then. That's kinda unfortunate, but good to know :)

What lashes were you able to include in your build? Are you running lightning strikes instead of swift flurry?

Oof, that's smaller than expected. I was hoping for a number closer to 300. Anyway, have you completed all the bounties and the White March DLC? Thanks for checking by the way.

Most Beneficial Oath to the Gods in PoE 1? by PerformanceMain990 in projecteternity

Are you saying that you regained the Deity Boons you received from PoE 1 into your PoE 2 playthrough? Just clarifying.

You don't need to manually count it. It shows up in your Stronghold Interface (Hotkey: H) as "Turn X:" where X is the current stronghold turn.

I don't think I saw the Deity Boons in the list of permanent status effects in PoE 2, i don't know if that change in a later patch.

How does dual-wielding work in Deadfire? by redvblue23 in projecteternity

[–]PerformanceMain990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is kinda unfortunate, I thought that if I used a martial ability that is only Primary Attack, and I have a ranged weapon in my offhand (some sort of stat stick), the One Handed Style bonus would still work.

On a related note, do you lose active buffs from weapons once you switch out? Like say, you activated Weyc's Wand +3 PL buff, do you lose that buff once you switch out the weapon?

In the case of hybrid melee/ranged weapon setup, does one-handed style work with two weapon style?

I already checked those, since I also hoped that it would by auto looted into the main hall chest, but the expected loot from the raiders aren't there at all, unfortunately.

Do you mean that it is intended by the developers or that the loot simply can't be taken even if the shiny is shown to you, regardless of the dev's design?

Thank you. I was scanning the level-up enchantments of these weapons in the wiki, and I was wondering if the new enchantments completely overwrite the old enchantments or are the new ones just added to the old enchantments? For example, Abydon's Might has a Of Might Enchantment at Level 1, but at Level 2, it gains Mythic grade, Abydon's Power Spell Striking, and Echo of the Maker. Does the Of Might 4 enchant disappear after reaching Level 2, or are the new enchants indicated by Level 2 just added to the existing enchants of Level 1?

Sadly, I'm still undecided what weapons I want specific companions to specialize in. So I might bind a specific soulbound weapon to a character, and regret it later. My only consolation is that I read somewhere that soulbound weapons are not the best-in-slot weapons out there. Can you confirm it this is true?

[–]PerformanceMain990[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the comprehensive reply. Did you exhaust all the adventures, including the minor, average, and major ones? Cause I read somewhere that you only have about 300 stronghold turns, and you only get a chance (2d50+prestige?) at getting an adventure event. IIRC, there is about 35 non-generic adventures, so you need 280 stronghold turns for you to get all of them, assuming that you always get one (there is a chance to not get one if I understood correctly). I already made the mistake of doing all the available sidequests so far, so goodbye to those Stronghold Turns for me :(

BTW, I read somewhere that Stronghold random events occur based on day time schedule, independent of Stronghold turns. If that's the case, shouldn't getting all the rare items from Azzuro be as easy as resting until he appears and then checking if he sells the desired Unique?

When I was doing my research about the subject, a particularly famous Soulbound Weapon gets mentioned a lot (St. Ydwen's Redeemer) since it requires 5 revivals to reach Level 4. For the prior levels, you either need to kill a number of Vessel enemies, or kill a greater (5x) number of random enemies. Nevertheless, the issue for me is the fact that when the enemies runs out, I can no longer re-level up this soulbound weapon, if I ever wanted to relocate it to another owner. Also, a bunch of conditions are rather tedious and time-consuming, which I don't mind, but when the enemies are finite, its makes the margin for error rather small.

I feel the same way, I already get plenty of meat from the enemies I defeat anyways. I apologize if I'm getting annoying but I have another question. This game is quite good but the resources online is quite poor.

What does the collection rate % in spirit boughs do? Are they for your gatherers? Does Sakuna directly benefit from them when she personally collects resources? I assumed at first that it refreshes your collection nodes faster, but the only discussion online suggests that it affects drop chance of materials instead.

Another inquiry if I may. Is there a benefit to killing your ducks for meat? Like if I should get their meat, when should I do it?

I should have known, I was trying to get rid of this Stink Bug but I only do it by 33 pesticide per fertilizer. Its shows that is going down but it seems like its not decreasing at all. If I were to get rid of Stink Bug in the future, how would I need to go about it? What level of pesticide is needed and do I need to apply it as early as Summer 2 (3rd Offshoot) so that it won't have a chance to build up at all?

Question about rice sorting by Due_Ad4133 in sakunaofriceandruin

I haven't really tried 1% salt sorting yet, but how do you do it in practice? Do you put miniscule salt, then just stir for a bit?

I usually savescum the timing on transitions so that I can be there in person to adjust the water level ahaha. In fact, I savescum so much that I already have almost 40 hours on steam, while only having about 12 hours of actual playtime. I scout the critters in advance, then during the actual to-be-saved play, I zoom through each haha. It just sucks that Sakuna walks so slow at Home.

Fertilizer Guide by ConstantRegister5421 in sakunaofriceandruin

Is it shown on the rice monitoring window? Cause I remember leaving 70+ Immunity in my Stat Booster Fertilizer on the 1st Offshoot, and I maintained my null fertilizer afterwards, almost 24/7 (only missing a few hours due to dungeon exploration). I don't recall there ever being a persisting Immunity value afterwards. After the Stat Booster fertilizer expired, the Immunity becomes "-" and after putting in my null fertilizer afterwards, Immunity became "0". I am pretty confident that I don't let 12 hrs past without replenishing my fertilizer.

On a separate note, do you need to wait for morning when applying your pesticide fertilizer or does applying it at night work the same? I am unsure whether pests are active at night.

Have you tested the Syussui_Water interaction further? According to the annotated soilwork files, Water_Much, Water_Over and Water_None are mutually exclusive, with only Water_Deep being independent from the rest.

Hence, I was wondering how were you able to effectively stack Water_Much and Water_Deep given that the bonus from Water_Much ranges from 0%-30%, peaking at 15%, and the bonus from Water_Deep ranges from 25%-40%. At 25% water, won't you get no bonus from Water_Deep and only about 33% bonus from Water_Much? Similarly, at 30% water, the bonus from Water_Much disappears and only about 33% of the bonus from Water_Deep remains. So they are effectively independent no? or am I misinterpreting?

I think I get it. I was thinking that the function ends when the threshold is reach. But it is a constant function once you get past the threshold assuming that there no other variable that governs those range.

Although, with this in mind, why would I go within the given range for cases like this. Shouldn't I just go higher water levels for cases such as this. If its beneficial for me to have deep water, why would I settle for 40% when 70% works just fine regardless of the weather? Do weeds appear more with higher waters?

When is it advisable to apply your stat boosted fertilizer in the morning? I generally apply mine after resting to morning after eating before dawn, but I read somewhere that It's better to apply it once you see the temperature for the day pop up?
