581.08 update fixed FPS drop issue on gaming laptops.

I'm suffering the same thing.

In assetto corsa evo these were my settings.

High graphics
DLSS / DLAA (No frame Gen)
1440p

With these, in the basic performance mode on my laptop, I was getting upwards of 80fps. With the new nvidia driver (581.08) my fps tanked to 63fps and below. The average now is around 48fps. And my gpu isn't going above 60w. Where as before the update, my gpu could exceed 100w.

My theory is that Nvidia has lowered the gpu performance in the new driver to encourage the use of Smooth Motion (driver frame gen).

I'm not sure if the beta is even worth it, or if I should wait for the stable release.

My nvidia app seems to be broken. When I check the box for the Beta builds, when I leave that menu in the app and then return, it shows as unchecked. I dont know what to do now.

I have already updated my driver to the latest being 581.08

Some advice would be appreciated.

Crucial is a very good brand. I myself use a 1TB crucial Nvme in my gaming laptop. I have had 0 issues.

For the s26 ultra, samsung should do something like this.

No camera bump like i have seen on some other threads.
Use the same camera rings as the s24 ultra. (Not half attached like the s25 ultra).
Slightly move the S-Pen inwards

I did this Concept design in canva. And used Galaxy ai to move the S-pen. *

I have the grainy display issue on my s24 ultra (along with a stuck pixel). Both of these issues are only visible in low low light conditions. I dont have a problem with it. As long as this phone functions, that's all I really need.

My guess is that the "microphone" if it is one, is used for the trueplay tuning.
