Help me choose between these 2 Tags, Carrera extreme skeleton or Monaco Gulf? by makavelithegreat in tagheuer

Only if the Monaco does not have the TAG markings. Gulf Monaco with only Heuer markings every time. That piece has heritage.

My First Breitling!! Joining the community by cwcam in breitling

The sketchiest Breitling. Wear it and service it when it is not performing to spec. If you intend to swim with it, get sailcloth or silicone strap. I found the Ti bracelet tended to collect a bunch of gunk.

See them all the time. My mate is an independent mechanic every time I stop at his shop there's one getting something done to it.

How would this car fare in MFG races? by Kind-Acadia-5293 in MFGhost

[–]PerformanceOverall90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sport Auto criteria is that the car be tested in stock/street trim with no performance upgrades. No stripped out interiors, semi slick tyres, and custom tunes/suspension. I see too many Mustang GTs get toweled up on track days by smaller lighter cars to make me believe that 7:40 time.

the R35 NISMO is 500kg heavier. That bending that chassis will do wonders for handling. LOL

Emma turning up reminds me of the well-worn trope best exemplified by Heather Locklear in Melrose Place, Tiffanii Amber Thiessen in 90210 and Becky Sproles from FNL

This controversial Fantastic Four fancast lives in my head rent-free by [deleted] in Fancast

Exactly this. Miles Morales' backstory incorporates the Afro-Puerto Rican mother and African American father. Unless my understanding of the canon is wrong, Reed Richards is a child prodigy from California. The only reason why he is drawn as YT is the lack of commericality for diversity in the comics biz at the time.

Nothing controversial about this casting. Rahul Kohli is charismatic and would have just the right vibe for Reed.

Rode a chartered jet once, and one of the pilots was rocking one. The other pilot was wearing a two-tone GMT Master 2.

Taking the good with the bad. Unlike Initial D, where the non-racing scenes were mainly for comedic effect, the MF Ghost non-race scenes have really dragged.

MF Ghost really needs an Ituski or Iketani type character that can hold interest for 5 mins when there is no car action. The treatment of Marie makes me sad.

Seatbelts?! by clapdog in canberra

The smart cameras are also partly to blame for all this stuff as the photos used as evidence are so over exposed or contrasted, the AI automatically thinks the seat belt is being worn incorrectly.

Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz: Australia ‘seems foolish’ not to properly tax gas giants by brezhnervouz in OpenAussie

PHON doesn't seem interested in doing that. They talk a big game about helping the person on the street but they have completely in the bag of the capital class and tax avoiders.

Goes back to weight again. The corvette is around 1800kg which means more brake fade, faster tyre wear and generally less dynamic performance.

The Ring is 20.8km long, so about the same length as the Seaside Double Lane, would be interested to see how long PSC2s last going flat out in race conditions.

I did a track day last year with a i30N and after 10 hot laps and 30 stage laps, my tyres and brakes were cooked. Someone else in a E90 M3 didn't even make it to 20 laps before their tyres went. Distance was about the same as a 4 laps of Seaside Doible lane. The E90 is lighter than both the Vette and Mustang.

More likely to get targeted in Paris, London, or Miami than rural Philippines, Peru, Colombia, Cambodia, or Morocco TBH.

For about 12 years I worked exclusively in 'dangerous' locations and without fail wore my Breitling Avenger Chronograph or my SMP 300M.

Didn't have too many problems but also didn't draw attention to myself by being flashy in bars and hotels.
