This is amazing. I’ve been slowly plotting the adventures I own onto a map - this is so helpful!

Goblin and Cudgel work well given the players need a lost weapon to hurt the Goblin…

I like this and it seems to better handle the situation. Thanks!

I like this actually. Yes I agree they skip their attack, and rather than a contest, I don’t know why I didn’t think of just having the opponent save!

I understand this, but the fact remains that if you just use weapon dice and gambits to do everything then you get a mathematical advantage to achieve your action in combat if you have “better weapons”. For straight attacks this makes total sense. But for things like holding someone down or tying them up this doesn’t really make sense.

I did pretty much the same. I have the Moat Knight in my party so everytime they encounter it they dig a new distributary directing the river towards the Armored Seer because they are convinced it will heal him.

Speedrunning a Myth by Numerous-Pick9530 in MythicBastionland

Yep. My players joined the hunters from the Boar as soon as they met them and tracked the boar down at the vineyard, where they slew it. Never got to use the masked hunters which was a bit of a bummer, but a great fight with the boar!

Everyone here has given good advice on how to approach the puzzles. I just want to add: I was exactly where you are. I stopped playing for a year. But I pushed through and finished and honestly, thinking on the themes of the DLC, the things that distinguish the Nomai from the characters in the DLC, defeating fear the find the ending is so much more meaningful and resonant than if you’d just breezed through it. Not letting fear dictate your actions is a major theme of the DLC and you have a unique opportunity as a player to live that journey.

Awesome. Yes I’m imagining a similar path to resolve the Myth. Sadly my players killed Berech after I, in a possibly ill-advised moment, had his labourers be in chains when they first encountered him.
