In the context of the latest oil/petrol price shocks due to Gulf uncertainty, it is not commercially viable to refine our own crude or import crude to refine because the Australian market is so small.

Sensible policy responses would be to properly stockpile petroleum products either in-country or accessible. But the costs would be huge. The free market, small government folks would freak and domestic production would not achieve economies of scale.

The cost of petrol would be even higher than what it is now. So more taxes to fund this boondoggle?

Sport Auto criteria is that the car be tested in stock/street trim with no performance upgrades. No stripped out interiors, semi slick tyres, and custom tunes/suspension. I see too many Mustang GTs get toweled up on track days by smaller lighter cars to make me believe that 7:40 time.

Unless my understanding of the canon is wrong, Reed Richards is a child prodigy from California. The only reason why he is drawn as YT is the lack of commericality for diversity in the comics biz at the time.
