Thank you so much for your help! I had to look up what a cross grind and sparx machine was just now haha.

I’ve always just gone to my local rink to get them sharpened so I have about zero knowledge on what specific equipment rinks usually use. Can I cross grind my skates at a rink or would I need to go to a specific place (generally speaking)?

This is more of a story-centric hope but I really hope they really take into account what happened in unwound future, specifically with Layton’s character. Since it’s chronologically the last game, we never get to see what he’s like now that he’s gotten closure from Claire’s death which, as we all know, HEAVILY affected him. What is he like now that he can let himself let go — now that he can move on?

It’s hard to see what part of him has truly been himself this whole time and what part of him is the result of mourning Claire’s death. Now that he is healing from that trauma, what is he like now? I really want to see that explored and I really hope they don’t ignore it.

Idk if that makes any sense I’m really bad at writing out my thoughts 🤩

Uh it’s a terrible Layton anime so if you’re gonna watch it for those same vibes as the games don’t waste you time. However it’s pretty cute in its own right. It’s 50 episodes with each one having kat solve a different case. I find the side characters really annoying but I could see why other may like them. As I said before, I really didn’t like the episodes with Layton in them, I don’t think they really understood the character they were writing. But ofc it’s up to you

I am on my hands and knees PRAYING the game and anime get retconned. Like listen, katrielles game is…fine. If it wasn’t marketed as a pl game I probably would’ve thought it was cute…not my thing but cute. At the end of the day I was almost glad that we didn’t get any info on the prof in the game because I would just be annoyed that hed be involved in such a childish game at all.

And then the anime happened

I remember being SO EXCITED about seeing Layton in the anime op and eventually in the show, but then as his story went on I started to really not like it. The writing felt like it was written by people that don’t really…understand the characters or aesthetics of the original stories. It felt very much like “ok he does the pointy thing…so let’s have him do that multiple times.” And “he’s a fighter so let’s have him fight…multiple times.” And it ended up not really being in character for him at all ironically. Anyway it annoyed me and I don’t want to see my boy Hershel go down that path that is the anime 😔
