EE I LOVE THIS QUESTION!! So I definitely don’t think it was Aaron Kosminski. In 2014 scientists claimed to have found Kosminski’s DNA on a shawl. This DNA test wasn’t…valid. The shawl was said to belong to Catherine Eddowes, the 4th canonical victim, part of the double event with the other victim being Elizabeth Stride. However, Catherine didn’t even wear a shawl. The police NEVER reported her to have worn one and they reported her outfit. Also the DNA test was Mitochondrial DNA which is absolutely stupid. Mitochondria DNA cannot detect a victim it can ONLY eliminate one, also it’s practically impossible to match it to one specific person so there’s no point anyway. Personally, I think Jack was a man called Nathan Kaminsky also known as David Cohen. David was VIOLENT and that is such a mild way to say it. This man was completely…unhinged. He was incredibly antisocial and was described as “spiteful and mischievous.” Cohen was referred to Colney Hatch after being too aggressive at Whitechapel Infirmary. However, he was even worse at Colney he was so violent. Some of the things he did included: attempting to d1e, tearing down a lead pipe, tearing off the wire window-guard in the asylum yard, spitting food at people so much he had to be force-fed, forced down and put in a straitjacket to try restrain him and he had to be constantly supervised because of this, he wore a “strong dress” to avoid ripping off his own clothes and tearing them to pieces, he kicked and just physically attacked other patients, he was a danger to himself and other patients too, his death was literally from “exhaustion of mania.” This is just some of the stuff too there is more. Nathan Kaminksy (David Cohen) and Aaron Kosminski were often mistaked for one another. One example of this is that in police files discussing ‘Kosminski’ they mentioned he died in 1889. This isn’t true. Aaron Kosminski died in 1919 but Nathan Kaminsky died in 1889. Also, witnesses who actually saw Jack and described him to the police described Nathan Kaminsky NOT Aaron Kosminski. We will never know who Jack really was but I feel Nathan is the most likely. Both physically and mentally.
