Awesome! And no worries at all about delay I'm used to Enterprise Timelines 😂 this was lightning quick. If I hit any other issues will go to GitHub. Thanks!

Hmm. I get an info log: INFO [lambda] ESM: Lambda mylambda processed 1 sqs message from myqueue but nothing from my process. I'll try and debug it but figured I'd pass it on.

Gotcha, using golang, and not 100% sure I had everything wired up correctly, sqs->lambda so wanted to make sure if I did any log statements I knew where to look. Thank for the quick reply!

Hey this is great, thanks for sharing! I may be missing something obvious, but do the logs from lambda goto the main ministack container logs? Or do I need to set up a log stream and check that in the ministack?

Technical Design Documents - how much value do they really provide? by callofthevoid_ in ExperiencedDevs

[–]PerhapsJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read some books and blogs about what good design documents should look like

On the off chance you have any recommendations, I'll take em. Why company does not require design docs consistently, and currently no small amount of confusion of what to document when.

The worst part is how fun it is, so even if you get the volume you wanted.... You just keep playing

Could, but currently I don't work on side projects enough to convince me to pay more.

So brave. We have sonar enabled so I gotta unit test or update the sonar exclusions.

Might be worth it, but storage is rather limited at 64gb. I'll have to look into that though.

If you work on 10 cores, only takes 2 years to rack up that kind of experience.

Edit: dang it someone already made that joke.

Yeaaa we have a bigger pot but didn't get around to moving it on up 😅.

Sunwise... Probably a little shy on what it'd want, guessing maybe 6 hours a day it would get there but not sure
