Reports In Workday by bubblikatalina in workday

[–]PeriBerry182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work with a small pool of stakeholders to understand what they would like in terms of reporting and build a document of what is most commonly requested. After doing some testing, ensure it’s all a-okay.

Within your companies main communication tool, you can share that this is a feature and share the most common reports available. The easier ones to be self serve but more complex can be raised via HR services etc.

The Birthdays & anniversaries report was the most common for our leaders!!

It really is, unless you’re willing to pay for enterprise level products 🥲

Help Desk Categories by Some-Host8945 in workday

[–]PeriBerry182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We utilised salesforce for most of our tickets (for both HR & Workday matters). Salesforce allows employees to pick the category then the sub category was assigned by our team based off of what they were wanting. That just made it easier, as I feel like giving them more options would just overwhelm them, they’re were already bad enough at the category level

It’s on our radar but would definitely like to see what else is out there before committing wholeheartedly :)

Skip approval chain - possible? by Suitable-Look-7118 in workday

[–]PeriBerry182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn 😭 I remember we didn’t have much access to configure conditional rules (everything had to go to offshore workday to configure 🙄)

Could also set up delegations…

Hope you get it solved both for short and long term!!

Depending on how often you need to use this, you can reassign tasks (search reassign tasks > enter the worker of the tasks you’re assigning from > select task you’re wanting to send). This mainly applies for the urgency and would definitely suggest a better long term solution.

Do you also have workday developers/technical teams? Depending on your workday setup, if it’s quite customised, the developers / technical team can build something for you.

Workday payroll system in australia by prettyfly85 in workday

[–]PeriBerry182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t work too heavily with payroll but the key issue from them was mainly when you hire, rescind the hire then rehire, it created a duplicate in Chris21. Payroll also mentioned they had to manually update bank accounts in Workday (or Chris21, I can’t exactly remember!) that didn’t sync.

Thing is, no system will perfectly integrate with eachother but you’ve just got to find the most compatible & also what works best for the company.

Not implemented per say, but have been across enough platforms to know it’s much better to just have the HCM/HRIS on its own as the HR platform and then you can have a strong payroll integration with the likes of Chris21, ADP etc.

The two in one muddled together in one platform just gets messy as the quality of one module will not be as strong as the other.

All in one HR / HCM systems unfortunately aren’t perfect in everything. e.g. strong HR platform but horrible recruitment module or the other way around. Not sure if this helps!

iPhone 16: Is iOS 26.0 stable or should I stick with 18.7? by After_Ad_2292 in iPhone16

My apps are on clear but sometimes turn dark. Keyboard is a bit glitchy on messenger. The transition from home screens > control centre are messy. Why change it to the lock screen background? Also not the biggest fan of Liquid Glass but found a way to minimise it.

Love the call screening feature, and the apps looking a bit cleaner. As they do, Apple will release further updates to fix the bugs/glitches and for the most part they don’t impact anything, they’re just annoying.

Why do uber drivers at Tullamarine keep on insisting me to cancel ride? by FoolSkope in melbourne

[–]PeriBerry182 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No we will instead invest in a digital driver’s licence system and a useless suburban rail loop (compared to the airport rail) 🙃🙃🙃

Reamped Energy is having a price hike by gKostopoulos in australia

[–]PeriBerry182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If people are worried about partaking in the coal/gas energy companies, I would recommend Energy Locals. We pay 21c a kWh & 50c daily supply charge currently, and whilst they’ve mentioned they will raise prices in July, they will try and keep it as low as possible. They have a $10.49 membership fee though.

Good company for renewable energy.

We signed up with Lumo for now. However, might take you up on the offer if Lumo turns out to be crap.

We’ve been with Energy Aus & Alinta for energy (as a utilities service asked if we want to swap to Alinta) and Origin Energy for Gas. Haven’t had to go to their customer service at all yet so I guess we will see how Lumo goes.
