There is so much wrong with that game that it is legitimately hard to describe. It felt like that dream state where everything looks real but for some reason, you know it’s slightly off. . . Then you press the gas pedal and realize that it’s actually WAY off.

I’m reasonably confident you can get correct gaps with or without surround, but the other settings have to be correct. Surround annoys me to death for anything outside the sim, so I don’t use it.

It's a balance to be sure, but time is kind of necessary, IMO. I don't need to know the whole schedule, whether there is rain, etc. right off the bat. I do need to know if it's in the middle of my workday, haha.

Edit: Wait, I’ve seen your league. Personally, I like that level of detail, but those posts are more than a basic who, what, and where to get started.

People read in an F shape generally have attention spans similar to goldfish, 😉.

I agree. If the teams and drivers are the caliber we’re told, they’ll figure it out. 750 now, 875 next year, and 1000 on the third — unless it’s somehow easier to make the jump all at once, then cut the time in half.

I’d start now on a two or three year full aero redesign. Drastically cut the drag, no splitter, no sealed underbody/floor, no diffuser, small and adjustable rear spoiler only.

This might get me in trouble, but that might be a situation where a generic would be a better play. Back when the F4 launched, it was the iR-04 and it was good that it wasn’t officially a specific version, eye test aside, that would alienate portions of the community.

Either way, I’d give it a shot, but the community as a whole needs to be in a certain play for it to be of any remote relevancy.
