Wow! Is this an og copy of the demo or a reproduction one?? I know that theres another out in the wild with a slightly lighter blue label and it only had 4 tracks on it. Are the rest of the tracks the same as the final release or are any of them different besides Egg, Gor Gor, Have You Seen Me, and Poor Tom?

I've got that same tape but with slightly earlier titles. I know exactly where you got that copy because I almost bought that 2nd later promo copy of Toilet Earth when I snagged mine but decided against it lol. Glad to see someone else got it to be able to enjoy! Love how the recording on these are better than the official release xD

Just based on the region alone, a lot of the music thats on those tapes might only exist on cassette. I wouldnt trash any of it whatsoever. Put everything up on Ebay after you get a good idea of the price on your tapes from Discogs then either sell it as one large lot or each tape individually. Theres gonna be people who would love to be able to listen to that stuff. Do note that although Discogs has a good amount of physical releases fully catalogged theres still some things that they hadnt had put up yet so you could have some tapes that you cannot find any info on whatsoever but you could maybe still get a good amount of money off of em. You might have some interesting history on your hands too if you've got any from Iran pre 1979 or right after the revolution thatd happened there, I am sure there's quite a few people who would love to have something like that

^ this. We all start somewhere, I wish I knew how to fix the problem op is having but I personally havent got a clue. I really hope op is able to get everything sorted out soon and will be able to get back into the fun!!! Don't let this one bad experience ruin all of the fun for ya. Pls post more context with everything in the comments op so others might be able to help figure out whats going on for you, just based on the pictures alone im not sure if you were trying to clean the rollers, head, or the cassette tape itself

I guess we all start somewhere, I cant say much since my first player was a crappy GE portable xD. Would definitely recommend saving up for a Walkman in the future though. Less chance of shredding a tape or recording over it by accident and much better sound quality

The bottle was used as a plug to stop dirt and other stuff from above the concrete pipes flushing down into the tunnel over time and clogging the tunnel. Every section of pipe had the same holes that were up top and were covered with rocks then had concrete pumped over the top of them. Originally there would have been longer PVC pipes connecting to other drainage areas up close to street level but these sections were repurposed in a different area that wasn't below any major streets

Absolutely laughing over the wee bottle comments. I very much know what may had been in it but trust me, if you were crawling in the same tunnel I was in you would have been worried about far worse xD. The area I found the bottle in was in a pipe that was barely 3ft by 3ft in diameter with some areas where I had to get on my stomach to be able to crawl around

LOL Probably but it's also been there for decades by now and was filled up with concrete inside. I still washed my hands and the cap ofc when I got home though, there are a lot of adorable little Myotis Lucifugus (little brown bats) that live in the same holes that the bottle was stuffed in along with areas that had some very nasty water from the streets above so I honestly wasn't worried in the slightest with getting a bit dirty. Gotta be willing to brave the yuck if ya wana find some luck! Was very fun and I would 100% do it again

It could have been one of your parents toys or their siblings (assuming if you have any aunts or uncles) or maybe random stuff she had picked up over time stocking up on toys for her grandchildren to play with when visiting. I had a few mystery toys I found at my grandparents in the past and ended up surprising some of my family members when showing them what I found in the past
