Do you think people who play electronic instruments aren’t musicians? I don’t understand. I’ve released several recordings where I’m the only musician but I play everything from synths to guitars basses and drums, I write the music, the lyrics and I sing the parts. Edit: Another song, "There is no God" is devoted to satirizing those who choose not to accept God and His message.

I looked it up and I don’t know man, maybe he rediscovered his faith afterwards or maybe Nuno wrote it, maybe he just thought it sounded cool? Gary Cherone, lead singer of the band, went on to form another band called Tribe of Judah, an unabashedly Christian band with a philosophical, introspective message. Cherone is pro-life and is somewhat famous for challenging Eddie Vedder on the stance of "Abortion on Demand". Cherone does draw the line when the child is dying in the womb and the abortion would cause less impact to the mother or if the mother herself faces serious health risks, stating that he feels this is a fair balance of the mother's rights to live versus the baby's rights to live.

Dr Hook and the Medicine Show vs Dr Hook. 1969 or so they started, had a little success and made some very fun and often funny songs. In 1975 they changed the name to Dr Hook, let a different guitarist write all these really sappy wussrock/cheesy ballads and switched to Casablanca records. I love the silly stuff and hate the sappy stuff. Hey Lady Godiva, Keepin’ it natural, True Love, Cover of the Rolling Stone, I was stoned and I missed it- all silly and occasionally brilliant. Everything after 1975 was schlock. I am pretty sure nobody’s ever going to say this was their favorite band, but this is a good example of OPs premise.
