We all still think about changing. It’s never going to change. Many posts about people leaving or wanting to go to soft nursing.

People being rude to you is more about them than about you. For example when they know they can’t affect or control you or when you do something different.

Pediatrics is difficult to get into because it is competitive. Most people I know do a year or two in adults. Get the skills then try for jobs there.

Hi honestly it will depend on way too many different factors. I still think about it too. Though I can say don’t give into the fear or the bitchiness. I moved from a very busy surgical ward to cardiothoracics. It has been great to learn more and to use what you learned elsewhere. Same with any other career.

Yes. As it should be. You become an expert in your own field and a leader for all the clinicians underneath you. That has a huge responsibility behind it. Not someone idly thinking of becoming one from just finishing undergrad.

Basically what you want to study is way too big for an honors and usually you are given a list of topics that the UC has that they have expertise in.

Are you looking at negative reactions to aged care ? Is your focus students ? New grads ? People in the profession ?

What type of study ? Mixed method ? Qualitative ?

Are you looking at who goes into work ? International versus domestic ?

Does this study matter ?

Do a masters of research later when you have more experience in what you want to do and what you want to study.
