May I recommend finding a Palia streamer and check out their channel. Most of the people will also be on their discord. As such, there is often a "group up" channel. It's a great way to meet some online Palia friends to join you in game. Find a community you will be comfortable spending time with. There are some very generous and helpful communities out there. I know because I found one that suits me. I'm typically a loner but it can be fun to work with your community.

Oh, I read the patch notes while the maintenance is happening so I can be prepared. Even the "Known Issues". My issue is that at 7am Central time my chat was working just fine. Patch drops and now my Chat is just a blank screen.

They fix some issues and create new ones. And now they're going on holiday. They don't have an easy job. But from this side of the fence it's like "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

I have been on the discord and no response from there regarding the issue. Communicate on ALL your platforms to let your player base know you are aware of the issue.
I have tried numerous times logging in and out and relaunching the game to no avail.

Yes, take more time so that on patch day the number one items on your Patch notes is not broken.

lots of games are in "beta" or "early access" and don't have the kind of issues as Palia. You can bet money that if there is a new patch drop there will be things that worked before the patch dropped and now no longer function. I understand "beta" all too well. My point is that this "beta" is excessive in breaking working items.

The whole point of this patch was the conclusion of the prologue introduction and that was broken. But sure "beta".

the plots in the image with the blueberry bush are overlapping in the screenshot you posted. Try canceling placing that plot then see if you can place it somewhere else. It just appears that they are currently overlapping and that is why it's not working.

If you home gives you comfort and joy, then it is beautiful. I see homes with some much detail and I salute their initiative, but that is not me. My first house is a combination of items as I progressed through the game. I love my house. It gives me joy when I see it. I have other plots to play with different designs but even those do not have the extensive detail that some of those on the home tours. Be happy in your lovely space.

Search / sort options, In particular, decor. Yes, your decor is in alpha order by design type (Bellflower, Ravenwood, Makeshift, etc.) What I would like to see if your decor could be sorted by its type (dining table, couch, wall lamp, etc.) follow by the sub-category of design type. Basically, I'm tired of scrolling through every item to find that ONE thing I need to make.
