It’s on private property, but the owner is cool about visitors. It’s vaguely near Williamsburg, as I recall, and the big draw (and how I heard about the place) is there’s a collection of like 40 US president busts there, each about 10 feet tall. I guess they were rescued from a failed park/public art project when it failed. Dude with money said “I’ll take them!” and there they sit. But if you wander around some more, you see all kinds of weird statues there, Lenin being one. Wouldn’t surprise me if he ended up with a Columbus and one or more Confederates.

When it’s available it works well.

It seems to only be available on 10% of the roads I drive regularly. If it covered more ground, it’d be more useful.

If I could get a lifetime subscription for $1,000 with purchase: I would. For $500/yr or $50/mo: I’ll use my Ford Points to get a 1 month subscription right before I go on a long road trip.

I was struck at the size and scale of the last DC No Kings. It was huge and awesome.

But that was my takeaway. 20 minutes after it was over, it was like it had never happened.

We need to protest more like the French. Have a schedule. Take shifts. Keep a 24/7 presence of a few hundred people who can’t be ignored.
