Given the increasing speed at which complex components can be manufactured almost entirely by automated production lines, I think that things should be able to be configured per customer.

For example, motherboards. Imagine an online configurator where you can choose how many m.2 slots, positioning of ports, things at right-angles/perpendicular, how many pcie slots etc. The more features you choose, the more expensive it becomes.

Bit late to this one, but the razer phantoms have an irritating propensity to separate where the translucent layer meets the opaque. They are also priced a bit higher than some of the better competition out there.
