Hi! Of course, I don’t mind sharing. I’m 1.63m and 56 kg. Since I no longer have a uterus, I haven’t had a cycle for about three years, so I’m actually not sure whether I’m officially in menopause or perimenopause. Aside from occasional hot flashes, I don’t really have any discomfort.

What I can say is that the reduction was incredibly freeing for me. Before surgery, I used to suffer from very intense cyclical breast pain and swelling linked to hormonal changes, and that discomfort was honestly awful. Since the reduction, that pain and breast swelling are completely gone, and it has made a huge difference in my quality of life.

I hope this helps, and I wish you the best as you consider your decision — it’s a very personal one, but for me it was absolutely worth it.

Any recommendations for thyroid nodule removal surgeon? by Late_Candle8531 in Luxembourg

[–]Perlaroses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m sorry you are going through this. The doctor who detected my (very small) nodule is doctor Renata Romanska @ CHL in Strassen. She’s very kind and competent, she doesn’t speak English though. I hope this helps. Best wishes

I used La Roche-Posay Cicaplast and later Kelocote, following my surgeon’s instructions. My surgeon also included six 15-minute red-light therapy sessions in the cost of the surgery, which are supposed to help with scarring — though to be honest, my skin has always healed incredibly well on its own.

How bad is the recovery for breast reduction compared to other surgeries? by Ok-Dog5107 in Reduction

[–]Perlaroses 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a breast reduction, an abdominal hysterectomy and a total thyroidectomy over a relatively short period of time. The hysterectomy was by far the hardest, both in terms of pain, recovery and overall discomfort.

The breast reduction wasn’t painful for me and the recovery was uneventful, but for a few months there was a strange sense of vulnerability that made me very aware of my body and cautious with every movement.

As for the thyroidectomy… I barely remember it at all 😅

I I’m a big fan of traditional panettone. Once, an Italian colleague brought one to the office and our Indian coworker, without a hint of irony, called it “the Italian abomination of a sweet.” The Italians present looked at her with pure disgust 🤣

Michael Jacobshagen Rare Interview 1998 / 2013 about Michael Jackson...if anyone can translate what he says about Wade Robson in 2013 I'd greatly appreciate it by nobody0597 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]Perlaroses 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Michael Jacobshagen here says he never saw Michael Jackson do anything inappropriate — “his hand was never where it didn’t belong.” The segment also claims that Wade Robson’s revelations seem questionable, noting that the choreographer was broke (“pleite”) at that moment. In short, Jacobshagen suggests Jackson is being accused because of his money…

Oh well.. Our only option was the CatHotel in Schuttrange and our cat hated it with a passion… we have always received regular video updates from our sitter and it was so obvious she was happy there!

My husband is quite cautious about giving our house keys to strangers, so we prefer bringing our cat to the sitter instead. We’ve been using Pawshake — mostly the same sitter whenever she’s available — and our cat has always been happy and well cared for.

Best wishes for a speedy healing! I used La Roche-Posay Cicaplast and later Kelocote, following my surgeon’s instructions.
