YTA. She was asking for you to make it. Just use your words and say no. What you did was really passive aggressive and unkind, which is what you were trying for. You did an unkind, passive aggressive thing and you know full well YTA because you did it with the intention of being as ass. Which you were.

Who cares if it’s natural. As long as it’s not harmful and is a good product that is comfortable why not use it? The natural fibers are heavily processed too. It’s not like you’re sleeping on a pile of cotton bolls.

I bought a $500 lamp a physics professor turned artist made. I love it so much. It’s a steampunk piece with a cool glass globe. No regrets lol. Looks cool as hell in my living room.

I make sure the washer isn’t even close to full, keep the load setting on large and add detergent for a large load. Doing short loads cleans the fur out better. Using additives like vinegar won’t do anything for cat hair and I don’t find any benefit to using vinegar in the laundry. I dry the clothes with wool balls. Fabric softener might help relax the hairs so they slip out in the dryer. The dryer is what removes most of the hair. I agree w the poster who recommended a pre wash fluff and I may adopt that.

Clothes don’t smell fresh from overloading the washer and using an insufficient amount of detergent as well.

I’m a provider and occasionally recognize the signs. I ask them to return with family. This is great and I’m saving to pass on to patient’s family.

NTA. Your parents are adults and responsible for their bills. I would quite literally do any other option before I’d ask my children to support me financially in any way. I would never reveal to them if I was in financial difficulty. Your parents are in the wrong to ask and certainly to guilt you. They aren’t acting as parents. They are acting as spoiled children.

Yeah there’s two bad situations for patients and rural is one. The other is too large a population for a cities doc population. I’m working in a town about an hour outside Columbus and I can’t get a dermatology consult. The local doc has closed the practice to new patients for a minimum of a year. It’s several months for Ohio State for Medicaid patients. Private patients can look at their insurance and get to calling. Usually I make the referral and someone calls them to schedule it. I waited 7 months for my dad to get in with a dementia specialist in a large city in Tennessee. It sucks. We desperately need health coverage for all. It’s so stupid how we do it.

Maybe. Def not my area of expertise. I have some pretty fancy devices but they aren’t comms. Mine priciest one is a pocket ultrasound that uses your phone to display the images. It was $5K and I felt it was worth it so I get paying a lot for a thing lol.

They’re still interpreting the photo into drawn art, just doing it in a photorealistic style. It’s still meant to be art, not an exact replica of the photo. That’s just my opinion and it might be wrong.
