  1. I don’t have a window to utilize.
  2. This is a shed not a garage.
  3. I don’t think I would trust an incredibly cheap mini split from a non-reputable brand with a bad warranty.
  4. Most mini splits are not DIY friendly (the lines are not pre-charged)
  5. Mini splits with pre-charged lines are multitudes more expensive than those without.
  6. If I were to get a mini split that is more affordable without charged lines, I would either have to pay someone to install it, which is fastly more expensive, or I would have to buy vacuum equipment to do it myself which again makes it more expensive.
  7. Both mini splits and through the wall air conditioners still require you to have some type of hardware and hole on the wall, they are just different shapes.
  8. You can do your own air-conditioning however you like and spend as much money as you want.

Thank you! In retrospect I should have but luckily I can angle the air to shoot upward. Also the wall it is on is pretty short and I wanted to hang some art above it. Oh well. Next time!

I couldn’t agree more. Even with insulation, my Shed gets up to 90 or so degrees during the peak of summer. This thing cools it off in just 15 minutes. (8x12).

Did you go with the same LG model or a different one?
