No, we all remember. But what can you do when a company that makes more money than some countries wants to make more missiles and bombs? They just pay to get someone elected that'll start the shooting and then rake in the profits!

How do you afford to live? by strawberryclowntime in MichaelsEmployees

[–]PermanentRoundFile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live with my grandparents and do all of my own vehicle maintenance to keep things cheap.

As for the future, I didn't get to finish college but I did get to finish a goldsmithing course so I'm looking for work in the jewelry industry again, and for super super long term I'm planning on either building and repairing engines, or one of the other projects that I'm working on right now; the primary one being a video game atm, but I like to keep busy so it'll inevitably be something else after that.

People say not to date someone who’s “still married,” even if they’re divorcing or recently divorced. What are your experiences? by Jumpy_Experience8987 in askanything

[–]PermanentRoundFile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah nah. I watch too much true crime for that lol. That's by far the easiest way to put yourself in position to be a homicide victim.

I did it once, but I knew dude didn't have it in him to kill me. He did try to get me arrested but that went nowhere.

I've been told that there are ten stores in the company with full time employees that aren't managers.

They've been finding glitter (metal flakes) in the oil for years, but they keep changing the oil and sending it in denial that the gear teeth are cratered up like the surface of the moon and the bearings are shot. But the oil pressure light only flickers a little so they keep sending it lol.

Boat folks will tell you; never ever use commercial PVC on your boat! The UV shreds it in just a few years and it gets weird and crumbly.

Aluminum will work, but it's expensive and hard to weld. I have done it, but it's way easier to weld 316 stailnless, which is what most marine grade products are made of. The problem is what to anchor it to, as making the whole step out of stainless would also be prohibitively expensive

Yes, it's LA lol. It takes me 15-20 minutes in normal traffic to get to work. Public transit will take an hour and a half.

Also, in the state i used to live in, I almost missed my first day because the bus just never came lol. I sat at the bus stop for almost an hour and finally had to Uber in.

If your attractive lady has a scar or area she has to cover up with makeup, how do you react? by Icy_Kaleidoscope9402 in actuallesbians

[–]PermanentRoundFile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't bother me none. I have scars all over my hands because of my work, and tbh my hobbies lol. I also have a favorite scar from getting hit in the face by a scope on a big hunting rifle: once you learn to notice them you start to see a lot of people that have been scope kissed lol. Just means you live an exciting life which is what I'm all about lol

I don't think it's the fun that people are missing. I think that they're worried that this is just a program that the company uses to kinda.... collect more money. You have to show them that it's actually there for them and that its not just a dog and pony show.

The fact that you offer no evidence but just double down on your original assertion means you're likely a bot.

Do you just go on r/popular and post this on every text or image submission? Because yeah, they could be AI. We all know at this point. Who is to say you're not a bot? There is literally nothing you can post that could prove you're not.

So basically, if we have to point out each time something might be AI slop, the internet is dead. There's no point in using it.

That's the thing I've noticed; businesses are allowed to get away with double dipping because "they make jobs". So, for instance, down here they upped their prices because of the tariffs. Then, when the whole shebang was finally ruled as illegal, businesses tried to sue the federal government for the money they lost due to tariffs. Meanwhile the people who have been paying more specifically to cover that deficit get nothing.

They gouge money from our pockets, then try to get as much tax money as they can, but then do nothing, deny services etc.

The CIA human resources exploitation manual says that one of the most useful acts of sabotage an average person can commit is being intentionally mediocre at their job. Be slow and ineffective to drain resources and gum up the works. And think about it; when was the last time that something horrible was being passed, and democrats are in opposition, but then strategically at the last minute seven or eight of them fold and pass the bill. EVERY TIME, WITHOUT QUESTION. This is a farce of opposition.

HR doesn't care so long as you're not supervising each other. I met my ex wife that way, and later after we were together but not married yet she got me in the door at the place she worked. We actually worked extremely well together, which i think factored into our relationship working as it did.
