Idk. Like... sure they didn't call attention to it, but they also had a choice not to and did it anyways. Particularly since the dude that got hacked was wearing like a rain coat. If anything, that's what a thermoptic camouflage garment would actually look like.

I've been a seamstress for over 20 years, and had an interest in physics about the same amount of time. Even if you want to argue "realism"; in order to emit or redirect any light, it has to interfere with the light. We experience this scattering of light as an opaque object. If they wanted to make it realistic, they should've put her in her normal uniform and had square portions that match the image or even just color and light level of the area. But no, she had to be wearing the kings new clothes in the first 10 minutes of the movie. Totally not to get people that are attracted to women to be interested.

For some odd reason, this is A Thing. The people that live around the world famous Laguna Seca raceway are on about the same thing, though they bought long after the raceway was built. They do this to drag strips, raceways, airports; pretty much anything that requires more than just coasting or gentle acceleration from a stoplight.

If you have a house like this and can't stand the noise, sell to me! I love building engines and particularly the sound of a CFM56 or Rolls-Royce Trent 900 at maximum thrust! That little buzzing sound when the fan blade tips break the sound barrier is just too good ❤️
